    Hey Ian, I had a good idea or when you get to episode 23. About a week before episode 22 comes out, I'll put a poll up for all the listeners to vote for their favourite Bond film (all 22 films available for selection) so when you record 23, you can announce the results of Earth-2's favourite Bond films as well as making your own personal lists. Perhaps you can count them down from least popular to most popular. Or not, your podcast anyway.

    for me just in general it's all 4 Brosnan Films. they will always be my most favorite. I've even been watching them throughought the week right now I'm up to TWINE.

    If you're up to TWINE i believe the worst is yet to come. By the way it's OHMSS for me and i know this topic was mentioned around episode 9 last year but I was all excited about christmas and by this time next year the podcast will be over.

    I didn't let it out in my my email to a great extent but fucking hell Die Another Day was such a fucking bore and anyone who didn't vote for it in the poll are dicks especially you derrick you "D.A.D. apologist". CGI AND BOND BINGO AND THE CAR ... WTF, this film is a fucking summer blockbuster and wasted celebration and I would give it a .5/10. Nonetheless, the review sums it up in the way i begged it to do so and I'm very greatful for you guys doing it justice the way it should've been done. Review: 10/10.

    I'm with Derrick on this one, Will. You're being a tad subtle! Glad you liked the review.

    Honestly I was kidding, Derrick, everyone has their own opinions and I seriously just wanted to get all my rage out about the film that led to the creation of Bond bingo (However that is reason 1 of 1000 why this film is the worst of the series.) Apologies to everyone who didn't vote for this on the poll, it was the final thoughts section of the episode that inspired that reply.

    No problem, Will. I fully realize I'm definitely in the minority when it comes to DIE ANOTHER DAY (and THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH for that matter) and that's okay. I don't disagree with the flaws in the story, the casting of Halle Berry, who must have had it in her contract that Jinx had to have just as much screen time as Bond or the overuse of CGI. But I still maintain that it's not the worst of the Bond movies and I'd much rather watch DIE ANOTHER DAY than MOONRAKER, A VIEW TO A KILL or QUANTUM OF BOREDOM....oops, excuse me, I meant SOLACE.

    I actually quite like TWINE (It's in my top 15) and the only Bond films I don't really like are DAD, MR, TMWTGG and possibly DAF.

    I hated Die Another Day so much I actually apologize to A View To A Kill in the upcoming episode 71 of BITD. An intensely stupid film that manages to be smug about its stupidity...and its overreliance on CGI.

    Huzzah! No longer do Adham & I walk in fear of the "AVTAK Apologists" cloud raining down over our heads!

    The Man With The Golden Gun is very disappointing but not all out bad.

    Moonraker, well, the opinion of FYEO is widely known about Moonraker. Tom's right about the theme (although that rarely influences my scoring of a Bond film) and I did like the odd thing here and there, but still, worst Bond film thus far.

    Diamonds Are Forever again isn't terrible, the plot's just very convoluted and Connery looks bored throughout. Given what they were paying him at the time (and how they scrimped on the special effects as a result, which look awful), it was a poor show.

    I watched Die Another Day again last night to prepare for the next FYEO recording. I won't give anything away just yet though...

    A View To A Kill is a jarring film for a number of reasons but I don't see how it was the worst. It doesn't help that Roger Moore looks like he's a paid-up member of Age Concern though.

    Yeah some of these are ok in parts and i'd put AVTAK in my top 15. The reason i chose these 5 films for individual selection is because all the rest are above average despite Adham giving TMWTGG an 8.

    It may well depend on the DVD region of Australia as to what kind of DVD it enjoys. Personally, I'm hoping it's compatible with Region 2 as I want some DVDs of The Chaser pretty damn urgently.

    BTW, any opinions on The World Is Not Enough?!

    yeh the chaser is awesome. bloody awesome episode as usual. xmas jones is really hot but she always says "have to put plutonium in this and have to defuse this". she says at one point "don't speak spy" well i say to her "don't speak science". I'm surprised Adham didn't say she had it coming when elektra died, I had money on it.

    As for the booklet, I honestly don't know. I think, from what you've sent me before, that we have the same boxset and that Casino Royale was been wedged in the centre of the original 20 films, so I'm leaning towards there not being a collectible within. That being said, I don't know for sure.

    I'm going to have to look at the new one and see. I think with the Blu Ray releases and everything the newest big boxset is silver not black. Like the one we have. Honestly I wasn't impressed with QOS as a bond film in general. So I wouldn't drop another $225 on a big boxset. It would be nice though to have a DVD booklet covering all the films. Kind of like what they did with Batman The Complete Animated Series. But anyways great episode it's a shame the Brosnan Bond had to end though. Even though I knew of the previous films, GoldenEye and the subsequent Brosnan films were what got me back into Bond.

    Yay I joined the forums. anyway the boxset i got was gold with gold covers for dr. no - die another day and the recent 2 have their own release covers. oh yesss my best purchase this year
