RSS
Despite some ironic sleepiness from one of the hosts, Hey, Gurlfriend is back with a look at the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, as well as its many versions. This includes its multiple written forms, an animated film, and an in-depth review of the most recent adaptation: Maleficent. Also, there are many incorrect words, discussions of fairy tale princes needing to accept that no means no, and a look ahead to future segments that Disney is forcing upon the hosts. Rjoyadet
It has been too long since I have seen Sleeping Beauty I remember seeing a VHS copy of Razz Matazz doing a Sleeping Beauty skit. The only reason why I remember it was because Christopher Reeves played Prince Phillip. Other than having Superman play the prince there was nothing memorable about it. Their Maleficent was named Henbane, and was boring. I heard about Anne Rice writing her own version of the story but did not know Orson Scott Card did as well.
