Sometimes two movies with very different vibes turn out to have a lot in common. Like a plot. And general goofiness. Kicking things off is a certified classic of science fiction, This Island Earth from 1955! Then, we're gonna gaze wistfully at an uncertain future in the stars while we ponder how much Star Wars we still had in us by 1984. Turns out a lot. It's The Last Starfighter!
