JackFetch Posted June 10, 2008 Report Share Posted June 10, 2008 A brand new RPG franchise from Square Enix directed by Hiroshi Takai, best known for his role in developing The Bouncer on the PS2. The Last Remnant promises a bunch of new Square Enix innovations, including: two main characters designed to appeal to either the Japanese or Western player, full use of the newly-licensed Unreal 3 Engine, and -- perhaps the biggest innovation -- absolutely nothing to do with Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy. It looks good, but I don't speak Japanese so I don't know what the hell is going on.
