JackFetch
Cabler G4 is importing Brit skeins "Freaky" and "The Peter Serafinowicz Show" to join its "Duty Free TV" block of international programming. The series will make their U.S. premieres on the Comcast-owned cabler Friday, with "Peter Serafinowicz" airing at 8:30 p.m. ET and "Freaky" following at 9. "The Peter Serafinowicz Show" features the eponymous Brit comic actor performing a range of impressions and sketches. G4 will present six half-hour episodes. "Freaky" is a magic show aimed at the same youthful demo that G4 is targeting. Eight half-hour episodes will be delivered. G4’s international programming, which includes "Ninja Warrior," "Unbeatable Banzuke" and "Super Big Product Fun Show" launched in February and has delivered a 22% uptick over the network’s total day average. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111798964...=1&nid=2562 I have no idea what these shows are, but I'll never forgive G4 for killing TechTV. XPlay is the only show left from it, and probably the most successful show on the network.
