JackFetch
The demo is coming out December 17th. This thing was announced at E3 2006 and cost $60 million to make. I was beginning to wonder if it was real.
Guest
This game was first announced four years ago. Is it even possible for them to break even on this?
JackFetch
I don't know that the driving sim market is big enough for it to make it's money back for a long time. GT4 sold 10 million copies worldwide, so maybe it's bigger than I thought.
JackFetch
Citing "production-related matters" the much anticipated racing title from Polyphony Digital will no longer be shipping this coming March in Japan. Reuters is reporting Sony has delayed the release of Gran Turismo 5 to an unspecified date, which the company plans to update in the future. Sony had yet to announce release dates for North American and European territories, but this news certainly doesn't bode well for fans anticipating a March worldwide release. IGN has contacted SCEA for additional comment and info. We'll keep you updated. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/106/1060661p1.html
