Missy
It's been implied on more than occasion that Spider-Man will be forced to join the Ultimates after his eighteenth birthday, but Joe Quesada has said that Peter Parker will remain in high school as long as he's Editor-in-Chief. So, the question remains, will we ever see Spider-Man as a fulltime member of the Ultimates?
J Marv
I hope not. The Ultimates don't need him (but might when Iron Man bites the dust). Plus, wouldn't Spidey come with a lot of baggage for the Ultimates (like, Venom and Carnage)? If he joined any of the Ultimate teams, he'd be a better fit for the X-Men. But I would hope he stays a loner in New York since that fits his powers and personality the best.
Missy
I'm in agreement that he's better left to fight alone, but I want him to join because of all the tension it would bring. Everyone else is on the team because they want to be, whereas Nick Fury is forcing Peter to join. That makes for great story.
Tom Cataldi
Is the Ultimates something worth checking out? I've been buying the Ultimate X-Men collections and I like them for the most part (I think I'm just a mark for Kubert). I know the basic story for the Ultimates, but I never really liked the Avengers from what I've read... so is the Ultimates any good?
Missy
The Ultimates is hands down one of the best super hero comic book ever! It is nothing like the Avengers, and I highly recommend grabbing it. In fact, the first 13 issues have just been collected in one hardbound volume.
