RSS
In the very first segment dedicated to discussing the endings of films in detail, Desmond and Darryll respond to Devil Dinosaur, Jr.'s comprehensive e-mail about the religious implications of Frailty. Please, if you haven't seen Frailty, make sure you watch it (because it's great), and listen to this segment only after you've seen it. dc20willsave
I love the idea of this. I can't wait for the inevitable Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me segment.

Missy
First, I should say I have not seen Frailty, so I'm basing what I'm about to type on your discussion and DDJ's e-mail. At one point it's mentioned that we don't know a lot about the life of Matthew McConaughey's character between childhood and adulthood. With the Biblical implications of Frailty, could he be Jesus? Des, like you, I was initially intrigued by the Left Behind series. Back when I saw the books for the first time, I was collecting novels and comics like mad. So the idea of a new series to read, especially one in a post-Apocalyptic world, piqued my interest. Then I read the back of the book for a second time, looked at the title once more, and thought, "Wait a minute!"

With the Biblical implications of Frailty, could he be Jesus? That doesn't really fit with the rest of the film beyond being a son. His father is never implied to be God, just the implement of God's wrath. In other news: "Implement of God's Wrath" my new symphonic metal album drops next week!
