well... since I never regularly picked up books before the new 52 and I'm not that well versed in the original DC continuity... I have no problems with the continuity changes in the books I'm getting... and I can't wait for October so I can see what Scott Snyder is doing with The Joker... I have faith that the reason for cutting The Joker's face off isn't going to be dumb, because Scott Snyder is awesome...

Saw it last night... Loved it!
What I've been seeing on the interwebs so far is people debating on whether or not Bruce actually survived the explosion and if Alfred seeing him in Florence was real or just him imagining like he said he did when Bruce was gone before Batman Begins...
I'd love to hear (well... Read) everyone's thoughts on this...

I love this game... not the greatest plot, and it does get repetitive at times, but no matter what I'm doing in the game, I'm having fun doing it... and I love the fighting... it's just so awesome to watch.

I'm loving Scott Snyder's stuff in Batman... I'm picking up Nightwing and Batman and Robin as well... I just wanted to know if TDK was worth getting... And I'll be checking out Detective now that Tony Daniels is leaving. I'm loving the three Bat books I'm getting now. I'll check out Batman Incorporated next time I visit my local comic shop.

I've been playing the Uncharted games a lot recently... I'm getting The Amazing Spider-Man soon so I'll probably be playing that for the next month or so... Is Lego Batman 2 worth a buy yet or should I wait until it is cheaper?

I know this has probably been talked about in length a long time ago... and I'm really late... but it really pisses me off that they would just cut off The Joker's face in Detective #1 and then just not do anything with it at all. It's been almost a year and there is nothing! Like what the fuck?! What was the point of cutting his damn face off to begin with?!! (and since it's definitely already been talked about, can somebody tell me which pages of the thread it's on so I can read the posts)

apparently Stephanie Brown is going to be Nightwing. Looks like Miller gets to keep on telling stories with Steph after all.

ok... I didn't know if it would be best to talk about this in the Smallville thread or here... but it is a comic book so...
Has anybody even bothered to pick this up (or download it)?
I did and I thought it was actually pretty good... definitely exceeded my expectations... I didn't bother finishing the show... it started sucking at season 10, probably a little earlier, but I did know that Clark became Superman at the end so I thought it had some potential...
The art could be a little stronger... it wasn't the greatest in the beginning of the first issue.
Oh and I guess this might be considered a spoiler but I don't know how to make a spoiler thingy so, read at your own risk... Batman is coming in... issue 5... I can't wait because it looks cool.

It's been announced (admittedly, it was in mid-February, but I forgot to update) that Detective Comics #9 will be part of the Night of the Owls event.
And, and this I got from wikipedia, so it might not be too accurate, but it said that to finish out the Night of the Owls event, Batman is going to release it's first new Annual #1 in more than 50 years... which is kinda cool I guess... I don't know about anyone else, but I'm excited.

I always figured having a 10th Doctor clone in the universe was setting up something for the next regeneration, so they could have a "multiple Doctors" story again. As long as they don't bring Rose back I'll be ok with whatever they do (I love Tennant). And bringing back Donna would be awesome, she was always my favorite companion (after Sarah Jane, of course) but I just don't see how it could happen. The Master has to come back as well because... well he's the Master and he's awesome. Those are my thoughts.
