Some of TOS is fantastic, last night I watched City on the Edge of Forever, it was great!
-
On Saturday, my friend and I watched Peter Jackson's Braindead (Dead Alive), we had a blast!
-
Ferris Bueller is a masterpiece! It's one of the few movies that had everything I wanted to happen, happen. I could just sit down and watch it any day of the week for fun.
-
Okay okay, Deathly Hallows is probably the best film, I'll admit that. But it’s certainly not my favorite.

1. Up
2. Ratatouille
3. The Incredibles
4. WALL-E
5. Finding Nemo
6. Toy Story 3
7. Toy Story
8. Cars
9. Monsters, Inc.
10. Toy Story 2
11. A Bug's Life
After number 6 they're pretty much interchangeable, in my mind that's where the line between good films and decent films lies.

Part 1 was the best of the films by a country mile
meh.

Cars certainly wasn't as good as some Pixar films but I enjoyed it. I liked it better than A Bug's Life and Monsters, Inc.

I heard that but didn't know if that was his score because it was the only time he gave a half score and later said he didn't give half scores. But anyway thanks for clarifying.

I was planning on seeing it until I read the reviews, does anyone who’s seen it have any thoughts? I liked the original, though critics were divided, but they pretty much agree that Cars 2 is sadly Pixar’s first clunker.

Something's been buging me, what score did Mike give B:TAS Episode: The Clock King in episode 5?
I listened to it twice and I don't think he ever gave it a score.

Lex has been in every Superman movie made. I'm tired of him.

I can't believe it, I actually found the First Look online today! However I do have mixed feelings. I agree with Mike that Batman’s actor sounds like he’s reading lines, I think he has the right voice for the role he just needs a couple acting lesions. I almost have the entire comic memorized so the lines I heard in the trailer annoyed me because it seemed like the characters were saying about the same thing as they were in the comic but they just changed the order of the words for the hell of it, but I thought why couldn’t you just use the original dialogue, it sounds so much better.
Batman: Year One IS my favorite comic story of all time. I really hope they are making the film as good as it should be, and not just hoping to pass it off as just another film in the DC Animated line. I think it should be of higher quality than any of the other DC Animated Films. I want to be as blown away as I was when I first saw Mask of the Phantasm, this story deserves it.

Anyone have any thoughts yet?
I'm planning on seeing it tonight.

Baby Mama is awesome, glad you liked it. It's the strength of cast that makes it great, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Greg Kinnear, Sigourney Weaver and Steve Martin, they all make it worth your time.
I've talked to the director of Baby Mama, Michael McCullers, he's an alumni of my high school. I thought that was pretty cool.

Saw it last night. It was pretty good, I think… All I could think about were the damn 3D glasses and the over use of 3D effects, I had to take my glasses of about half way though and watched the rest without them. I should probably go see the movie in 2D so I can be a fair judge but I don’t think I’ll be able to pull myself to.

Just started watching Twin Peaks (you know, David Lynch's mystery thriller show from the nineties) and it is outstanding! Only a few episodes in and I'm already hooked, defiantly worth a look if you have Netflix.

First season= YES. WANT MORE.
Second season= Um... okay.
Third season= BLEEGHGG GET IT AWAY.
Fourth season= Was there a fourth season? I don't remember.
Yeah, I am really into it but I'm only midway though season 1, so my opinion isn't based on the entire series. To bad it goes downhill though, based on the first season it could have been really good...
And yes there was a 4th season, it ended with a cliffhanger and the show wasn't picked up for a new season. I fucking hate it when that happens!

I think these two shows were head and shoulders better than any other adult-oriented animated television series because they are not only very funny but they also addressed the current political issues and showed their opinions on those issues. Sure the underlying messages are usually smothered in sarcasm, but I believe the themes are still there. That’s my view anyway.

This is The Simpsons through season 9 of course.
This is tough for me, I've loved the Simpsons ever sense I was like 5 years old, I've grown up with it and it has always been one of my favorite shows. Now South Park is more of a recent phenomenon for me but every episode I’ve seen, I’ve just laughed my ass off at its over the top irreverence and sarcasm.
But when it comes down to it I have to vote for the Simpsons, I’ve grown up with it and I just love the characters and great writing and animation of those first 9 seasons that it has to have my vote.

I just started watching Heroes on Netflix, now I’m midway through the first season, and I’m actually enjoying it. I watched the pilot episode when it first aired but it just didn’t grab me, but watching it now I’m into it, I don’t love it quite as much as say Lost, and it defiantly suffers from a few bad elements but over all I think it’s a really good show.
Anyone else have any thoughts about Heroes?

The answer to both is "sort of." There's no absolute yes or no answer.
I kind of assumed that, I know there were some contradictions I just wasn't sure if it had been established that all DCAU comics were non-canon. I love how the comics brought back character's like Grace (Two-Face) and Ferris Boyle (Heart of ice) So I'm glad they aren't completely considered Not in Continuity

I hope it’s not too late to be have new discussions on this thread...
I just have one question, is the new Batman Beyond miniseries and now ongoing series in continuity with the DCAU? And for that matter, are any of the DCAU Comics considered canon? I always assumed they were because they continued abandoned storylines, provided more information about one-off characters, and they just seemed to tie the universe together more as a whole. I haven’t read any of the new Batman Beyond series, so I can't say the same, I hear that there is also an upcoming Justice League of the Future series that is set in the Batman Beyond universe (presumably based on Batman Beyond’s The Call)
Anyway I hope this topic hasn’t already been discussed, but I would love for this to be clarified.
