If they really are going through with the JLU films to precede a JL movie then surely within the next 5 years we're getting a big screen Flash movie.
-
It's not exactly a Marv-centric movie, he could probably stand it for the short time that he's in there.
Two of the stories in the movie are not going to be adaptations of the books, they're new material, so you or I don;;t know how much Marv there is going to be yet.

Warner Bros wanted DiCaprio to play the Riddler in this movie
http://www.slashfilm...k-knight-rises/
Of course they did - the integrity of the films is of no interest to them so shoehorning a star into an iconic role just for the sake of it is no problem to the suits. But that kind of filmaking by committee ended up giving us Batman And Robin. I like DiCaprio as an actor but in this Nolan continuity, The Riddler isn' going to work. Now a young Hugo Strange...maybe.

Yay, a mirror universe where characters are darker more evil versions of themselves. Oh wait, they did that.
It'll be fun to see a Flash-centric films though, that guy is undervalued as a potential mainstay of the company. I mean, they're out there trying to push the massive unweildy Green Landern mythos on people when they've got a fun guy who's power is the ability to run incredibly fast? DC's movie hierarchy should be Batman/Superman/Flash, no question.
Yeah. I think they've never gotten over the cost of the John Wesley Shipp FLash tv series. Sure, it wasn't great, and it cost far too much to make given it's viewing figures but the show was actually not bad by early 90s superhero tv standards! Flash needs a but more respect in live action and as an animated like, not just a JLA appendage.

I doubt Wolverine will be involved - he's got his own movie in 2013. Making the X-films so Logan-centric is one reason a lot of other iconic characters got pretty much ignored. Cyclops in particular was shafted while they made essentially Wolverine And Friends.
-
Mickey ssaid he was sick of the make up every day and wouldn't go through it again so maybe Marv will be mocap this time.

It looks OK. I've read a LOT of people now saying its ripping off The Raid but as anyone who has been following Dredd for a while, as I have as a long time fan, the script has been floating about for a good few years. It's not ripping The Raid off at all. I had a copy of the Dredd script before The Raid had even started shooting.
I think this looks like a good Dredd films, it has a kind of John Carpenter siege vibe to it.

Charlie Sheen is going to play the President Well...his dad was Jed bartlett I suppose!
-
I'm not crazy on Batman joining in...smacks of an attemt at a sales spike (there's a reason there's more Bat-books than any other character).
-
I'd love the guys to cover Torchwood, Sarah Jane, K9 And Co etc but I'd understand if they wanted to leave it as the show and nothing else. I remember hoping that Mike and James would keep reviewing superhero cartoons and films once World's Finest had concluded the DCAU canon as well, but there's only so much you can ask of guys who give so much time to give us HUNDREDS of hours of free entertainment. I'm amazed Mike in particular maintains his schedule - he's one of the most dedicated individuals on the web and a hero of fans of geek culture!

For us American types at least who were old enough when Buffy first aired.
Merlin's super popular among the younger kids these days. That, and it's on teh SyFy.
Anthony Head also has a history wth Who well before School Reunion having played in the Excelsis series. He also voiced a character in The Infinite Quest

5 to 6. Blows my mind every time.
-
Not the most evil but the most memorable for me is Tobias Vaughn. Kevin Stoney was just astounding
-
DiT is unimaginably bad but Curse Of The Fatal Death is pretty brilliant.
-
There's a DWM comic outtake of the McGann to Eccleston regeneration where you can see Eccleston in McGann's costume, RTD himself signed off on this strip regenning the Doc but the writers themselves didn't want to do it in the end.

The Dan impression yhat had me laughing more than any other? "Lord NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMON"
Episode 01: The Breakfast Club
in For Better or Worse

Hmm. I've given it quite a bit of thought as to who I would recast if it was up to me and these are my picks. I've posted a few films from each of my acting picks in case you cant put a face to the name.
I'd love to see Rutger Hauer in the Paul Gleason principal role. Think of the douchey corporate role he played in Batman Begins, he could bring that "authority" to the role. Obviously famous for Blade Runner and The Hithcer but he's a great character actor.
As the Janitor? Bruce Campbell - because the fault with most movies is that they don't have Bruce Campbell in them.
Aaron "Kick-Ass" Johnson would be my Brian. Also in The Illusionist and Nowhere Boy.
Michael B Jordan from The Wire and Friday Night Lights as John. I've got no problem with recasting parts with actors from other races and this guy would be perfect as the jock.
Kody Smit-McPhee from Sucker Punch, Let Me In and The Road as Claire
Saoirse Ronan from Hanna, Atonement and The Lovely Bones as Allison
Logan Lerman from Percy Jackson and The Three Musketeers as Andy.
