  1. As the eighth modern season of Doctor Who comes to a close, trees spring up overnight to protect the world ("In the Forest of the Night") and an old frenemy returns to menace (and kiss) The Doctor ("Dark Water" / "Death in Heaven"). Please pardon the audio glitches, as well as the outdated references. [ 1:37:20 || 47.0 MB ]

  2. While some comic book events are fondly remembered, others have long been forgotten. In this new segment, Dan and Mike look at one that time and reboots have left behind: Emerald Twilight. Not only do the guys cover the core storyline (Green Lantern #48-50), but there's also discussion of the issues before the fall of Hal Jordan (#46-47) and the rise of Kyle Rayner (#51-53). 3. Boobs, blood, and black gloves here! Get yer boobs, blood, and black gloves! Yellow Christmas begins as Dread Media dedicates the entire month of December to the notoriously sleazy, mean-spirited, and often nonsensical genre of Italian whodunnits: Giallo. This first week, a sampler of what the genre has to offer: Desmond and Darryll take on Lucio Fulci's classic Don't Torture a Duckling, Devil Dinosaur Jr. reviews Antonio Bido's grim The Bloodstained Shadow, and Rich the Monster Movie Kid dips his toes into the genre with a look at Emilio Miraglia's The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave. There's some tunes, as well: "I Kill Children" by Dead Kennedys, "Strangled with a Halo" by Pig Destroyer, "Bloodstains" by Agent Orange, "Living Dead Girl" by Rob Zombie, and "Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart" by Stone Temple Pilots. Don't forget to enter this month's killer giveaway. RIP Scott Weiland. [ 1:22:27 || 39.8 MB ]

  4. While Shotgun is the general weekend fare, Raw has plenty to write home about. Owen v Bulldog in a rematch for the European Title, Rocky Maivia v Bret Hart for the first (and only) time for the Intercontinental Title, Mankind and Undertaker take their feud up a notch, Stone Cold explains what a tweener is, Road Warrior Hawk ascends to Ahmed Johnson levels of microphone greatness, and Vince Russo inspires the creators of Battlefield Earth. 5. For the fourth of Ian Wilson's Twelve Labours of Comic Reel-lief, our British host must brave new territory by recording a solo commentary of a comic book movie. So, rolling back the years, the film in question is the first movie Ian ever reviewed for Earth-2.net: Blade. It's listen-along fun! [ 2:09:40 || 62.6 MB ]

  6. The Lost Episode of Animezing Podcast finally surfaces as Kellen and Tom from November 2014 discuss the final four episodes of Deadman Wonderland: "Worm Eater," "Undertaker," "GIG of Despair," and "Grateful Dead." In addition, they also cover the prequel OVA: The Red Knife Wielder. Join the Commonwealth duo as they discuss even more gratuitous violence and disturbing features than ever before, awkwardly discuss if there is a place for sexual assault as a plot element, and Kellen makes an announcement for a sabbatical that he has already been on for the past year. 7. The Brothers Wilson are back after the small matters of one becoming a father and the other expanding his cultural horizons abroad. But back to Earth, their November subject is the divisive Oscar- and Razzie-winning actress Halle Berry. Shunning her obvious comic book movie roles, the hosts take in her Academy Award-winning turn in Monster's Ball, her major supporting role in the 1998 political comedy Bulworth, and her starring role in the poorly received shark thriller Dark Tide. Also featured this month is Pandy's new game (which Ian is just as bad at), comments on the unsightly body hair of Billy Bob Thornton, and discussion as to what extent an actress is allowed to be outspoken. And we flesh out our schedule heading in to the new year! [ 2:34:53 || 74.7 MB ]

  8. We are ushering November into nothingness as Desmond has a second interview with author Nicole Cushing. The two talk about Thomas Ligotti, blurbs, philosophy, extreme horror, and weirdos in relation to her two new releases Mr. Suicide and The Mirrors. Rich the Monster Movie Kid swings by to cover the obscure HBO skin flick / thriller Tattoo. Then Desmond goes solo on the indie anthology film The Horror Network, and the most insane Christmas movie you'll ever see: 12 Disasters. And of course, music: "Suicide Messiah" by Black Label Society, "Mirrors" by Blue Oyster Cult, "Feel So Numb" by Rob Zombie, "Impending Disaster" by Devil Driver, and "TNA (The Nihilistic Army)" by Turbonegro. 9. Dave and Ian are back to cover another three episodes of Manimal. In "Night of the Scorpion," Chase helps an attractive young woman when her father is killed after discovering a list of KGB spies in the CIA. In "Female of the Species," Chase helps an attractive young woman who has been raised by wolves when she is brought to New York and becomes a target for an assassin. And in "High Stakes," Chase helps an attractive young woman who discovers that her kidnapped racehorse is being run by an unscrupulous rival under a different name. They also continue to be impressed by how Brooke is progressing, discuss the appeal of steel drums, and marvel at Panther PI. [ 2:22:12 || 52.9 MB ]

  10. Don't tell anybody because this week Dread Media commits podcasting crimes. First, Desmond and Darryll wreck a perfectly good camping trip in their review of Deliverance. Then Duane joins Desmond for some baseball bat-related shenanigans in their review of Cold in July. Then Desmond steals a police cruiser and goes looking for a lost girl in his solo reviews of Cop Car and Skin Traffik. Turn these tunes up! It might not be against the law, but I'm sure it will at least be a bylaw infraction: "Dueling Banjos" by Eric Weissberg, "Deliverance" by Corrosion of Conformity, "20 Miles to Texas, 25 to Hell" by Powerman 5000, "Looking for Blood" by The Donnas, and "White on White Crime" by Agoraphobic Nosebleed. 11. It's been a long, strange trip, but Chris and Desmond have finally gotten together to discuss the third and final season of the Netflix Series Hemlock Grove. How does it fare compared to the other two? Did their favorite character get more screen time? Who in the blue Hell is stoner Luke Wilson? You'll have to listen to find out. Desmond goes solo to close out the show with a review of Last Shift. Songs include: "Gypsy" by Mercyful Fate, "Victory" by Bad Religion, "Ritual Blast" by Occultist, and "Skin-Tight Boogie" by Eagles of Death Metal. [ 1:17:26 || 37.4 MB ]

  12. This week, we look at some recent horror comedies and an obscure TV movie. First, Duane and Desmond look at the great Canadian horror comedy Bloody Knuckles. Then Rich the Monster Movie Kid covers 1972's The People. Then Duane and Desmond take a look at The Slashening. There're tunes, as well: "Touch Me, I'm Sick" by Mudhoney, "Mongoloid" by Devo, "Starman" by David Bowie, "Dead Girls Don't Scream" by Thirteen Shots, and "Chlorine & Wine" by Baroness. RIP Gunnar Hansen. [ 1:31:46 || 44.3 MB ]

  13. The third of Ian Wilson's Twelve Labours of Comic Reel-lief is the hardest to date as the PanDemon has challenged him to undertake a lists episode without Tom "Stavros" Hemmings. Hear Ian attempt to keep the format sailing smoothly as he discusses the best and worst representations of female characters in comic book movies, as well as the most sexually pleasing female character on screen. But who is Ian's co-host? Will Ackerman? Hannah Krueger? Adham Fisher? Stavros in a falsetto voice? It's definitely one of them! [ 2:20:35 || 67.8 MB ]
