  1. This week we look at some women scorned. First off, an exploitation classic as Darryll and Desmond look at Abel Ferrara's rape-revenge masterpiece Ms. 45. Then Duane joins Desmond to review the murdered witch back for revenge in Antonio Margheriti's The Long Hair of Death. Then Desmond goes solo in a review of I Spit on Your Grave: Vengeance is Mine. Tunes included: "Nuns Have No Fun" by Mercyful Fate, "New York's Alright (If You Like Saxophones)" by Fear, "The Witch is Burning" by Doublestone, "Forced Gender Reassignment" by Cattle Decapitation, and "I Spit on Your Grave" by Ghoultown. 2. Ooh, ooh, Wrestlemania! Yeah this is our life! It's finally here, the biggest week ever of this podcast. Weighing in at over four hours, this show has it all, from Owen Hart's unforgettable antics at The Slammys to the blood soaked canvas that launched the biggest draw in wrestling history. Plus japes, jokes, Shotgun, Superstars, Free for All, the post-Mania Raw, and plenty of Sid and Ahmed Johnson promos, what's not to love? Join us for the granddaddy of the all! 3. Ian and Dave embark on the final show of The Year of Cheese with Manimal. In "Manimal," police officer Brooke Mackenzie stumbles across an arms smuggling ring that leads to her partner's death. Her pursuit of justice leads her to police consultant Dr. Jonathan Chase and his friend Ty. She soon discovers that Chase has learned the secret of transforming into animals. In "Illusion," Brooke leads the arrest of a smuggler with diplomatic immunity, while Chase must clear an innocent tiger of murder. They also discuss the bizarre rules of Chase's transformation, how Brooke is almost but not quite a progressive character, and Ian despairs at Dave's increasingly tortuous transformation puns. 4. Big Damn Heroes cohost, Hannah Krueger, again joins The Real Protagonists as they suffer through the second bewilderingly popular Twilight movie: New Moon. Listen as the three hosts chronicle how the most unlikable protagonist in film history becomes a blubbering mess over losing her abusive vampire boyfriend, and then anoints her best friend as the Mayor of the Friend Zone. 5. Aaron and Damien are back to discuss the horrible state of pro wrestling, the slightly less horrible state of video games, and sports. Seriously. Also, an explanation on why the Tranquil Tirades has yet to run any real ads. Topics include: sexism in Metal Gear Solid V, Undertale, King's Quest, outdated thoughts from before the most recent NXT TakeOver, cricket, and crowdfunding. [ 1:48:23 || 52.0 MB ]

  6. This week, it's a cavalcade of varied horror presentations leading up to Halloween! First up, Argentinian child vampires go under the microscope as Duane and Desmond review Children of the Night. Devil Dinosaur Jr. gets to the bottom of found footage black comedy / thriller Creep. Rich the Monster Movie Kid rounds off the audio end of his month-long tribute to Bela Lugosi in his review of Voodoo Man. Then Desmond returns to go solo on reviews of the possessed-child film June and the haunted house film We are Still Here. 7. Ten years ago today, Earth-2.net: The Show was born! To celebrate, the E2 gang took a look at movies and TV shows which were once in the future but are now in the past. Dan and Mike tackle the Back to the Future trilogy! Ian, Dave, and Jim Moon dive into Escape from New York! Will and James sit down to watch "Lisa's Wedding," from The Simpsons! And Hannah and Will suit-up for Neon Genesis Evangelion! [ 7:06:30 || 207.6 MB

  8. Taking on the government this time, King Christian and Prime Minister Wilson honor their favorite leaders, condemn the most irritating bureaucrats, and determine the worst rulers ever to take office. Prepare for occasional spoilers; be prepared for some outrageous puns. Although Skype's rebelling, it isn't too telling. And responses from feedback? There's tons. Yes, their teeth and positions are out — List and Shout! [ 1:21:45 || 39.6 MB ]

  9. This week, Dread Media presents its (at least) annual conversation with our friend, filmmaker, writer, and film festival runner Gregory Lamberson. The fellas talk about Killer Rack on the festival circuit, Greg's first standalone horror novel Black Creek, the Buffalo Dreams Film Festival line-up, and the cult resurgence of Greg's 1988 classic Slime City. Rich the Monster Movie Kid comes on back to discuss this week's Bela Lugosi film in a review of The Devil Bat. And of course, there's music: "Working Class Hero" by Screaming Trees, "Killer Rack Title" by Armand Petri and Joe Rozier, "Diary of a Madman" by Ozzy Osbourne, and "Mission Creep" by Zombi. RIP Soledad Medrano. [ 1:31:03 || 43.9 MB ]

  10. This week it's another grab-bag. Bear the awful audio as Chris and Desmond gush over Jake Gyllenhaal's masterful performance in Nightcrawler; thrill at Rich the Monster Movie Kid's discussion of the work of Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff in his review of The Invisible Ray; swallow your soul for Devil Dinosaur Jr.'s Stay Scary of the Evil Dead remake; and try to guess which two of these three films, which Desmond solo-reviews, are awful: A Plague So Pleasant, Old 37, and Queen Crab. There're tunes, as well: "Negative Creep" by Machine Head, "Nightcrawler" by Judas Priest, "Radioactive" by The Firm, "Evil Never Dies" by Overkill, "March of the Crabs" by Propagandhi, and "Fun House" by The Stooges. RIP Steve Mackay. [ 1:47:54 || 52.0 MB ]

  11. It's fall, so you know what that means? The TV 101 Fall Preview Special. Will goes through a host of new shows and finds some that look decent, some that look terrible, one he already hates, and a trend that runs through a ton of them. Once he mentions it, you'll see it everywhere. [ 1:14:00 || 36.0 MB ]

  12. This week on Dread Media, Desmond and Darryll talk about a lot of stuff in their long and drunken rambling review of Suburban Gothic. They even manage to talk about the film itself! Devil Dinosaur Jr. tries to come to terms with Contamination .7 in a brand new Stay Scary. And Rich the Monster Movie Kid kicks off his month of tribute to Bela Lugosi with Island of Lost Souls. All that and songs, too: "Suburban Vampire" by The Browns, "Punk Rock Girl" by The Dead Milkmen, "Wasting Away" by The Brian Jonestown Massacre, "No Spill Blood" by Oingo Boingo, "Poltergeist" by Devin Townsend Project, and "Only the Haunted" by Dog Fashion Disco. [ 1:55:49 || 55.8 MB ]

  13. While Captain Kirk attempts to open trade negotiations with the Capellans, a wimpy Klingon takes advantage of the internal strife, and Doctor McCoy slaps a pregnant Catwoman ("Friday's Child"). Then everyone gets old because of a comet ("The Deadly Years"). Also, Dan and Mike make lots of noises. [ 1:12:40 || 35.3 MB ]

  14. The second of Ian Wilsons Twelve Labours of Comic Reel-lief is here, tasking the host with getting caught up on the comic book movies of 2015. On the slate are: Kingsman: The Secret Service (the latest Mark Millar / Matthew Vaughan collaboration), Avengers: Age of Ultron (the second Marvel Studios mondo team-up movie), Ant-Man (the final instalment of Marvel's Second Phase). And there's also been a Fantastic Four movie this summer, which, too, gets reviewed in this segment! [ 1:23:15 || 40.2 MB ]

  15. As The Doctor and Clara contemplate the future of their relationship, a deadly legend comes to life ("Mummy on the Orient Express"). Then, Clara must take on the role of The Doctor as two-dimensional creatures begin to invade our three-dimensional realm ("Flatline"). [ 1:13:15 || 35.4 MB ]

  16. Dave and Ian reach the end of The Summer of Crime Traveller. In "The Lottery Experiment," Slade thinks he has a way of beating a paradox and winning the lottery. While back in the past, his efforts to give Holly the winning numbers hit a snag when Grisham assigns him to protect a shipment of gold. In "The Broken Crystal," an expensive component malfunctions, rendering the time machine permanently inoperable. Slade is assigned to investigate a series of murders and discovers that the prime suspect has a time machine of his own. They also look back at the series as a whole, name their series MVPs, and rejoice in a moment of pure distilled Crime Traveller silliness. [ 2:34:42 || 58.1 MB ]

  17. It's all fun and games until someone loses their life this week on Dread Media. First up, Webmaster Michael David Sims swings by to play a game of Would You Rather? with Desmond. Then, Devil Dinosaur Jr. plays some Pranks. Rich the Monster Movie Kid swings by to tell us all about the benefits of X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes. Desmond comes back to end the show with a Blood Punch. Like any big sports event, there's some kickass tunes to get your blood pumping: "Damned If You Do" by Alice Cooper, "Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis" by Trivium, "Fun and Games" by Pennywise, "X-Ray Eyes" by Blue Oyster Cult, "Not the Same" by Hands & Teeth, and "Arc of Violence" by Black Breath. [ 1:53:26 || 54.7 MB ]

  18. Every now and then, an actor with a considerable filmography, undeniable charisma, and a cult of personality arrives to test the mettle of The Brothers Wilson. This month, Hey, an Actor! profiles the inimitable Academy Award-winning Nicolas Cage, who is also Ghost Rider. Pandy's homework of acclaimed drama Leaving Las Vegas sees him ask fraternal questions about alcoholism, whilst Ian weighs up the historical merit of Jerry Bruckheimer's National Treasure for the very first time. And at the insistence of Reverend Organ, the brothers also take in the stylized action nonsense of Drive Angry. Even though there is potentially a hiatus in store, as one of the hosts prepares for fatherhood, the episode closes on not only a Pandy Parody, but the extended version of Ian's history of the creation of Nicolas Cage, with the assistance of cult 1970s singers. 19. Wendee and Dan end Dan's minor freakout at having confused different portions of the DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince catalog by remembering to thank Patreon subscriber Rick with a discussion of Octavia E. Butler's remarkable novelette Bloodchild. Visit www.patreon.com/bookswp to learn more about making the hosts into your trained seals! [ 1:01:47 || 30.0 MB ]

  20. This week reality crashed down on your intrepid host, as he's ill with The Throatpocalypse. But Des soldiered through this episode, as Dread Media takes a look at reality on film. First, in the documentary realm, Chris joins Desmond to take a look at the follow-up to the legendary Room 237: The Nightmare. Then Duane joins Desmond to look at the sometimes-interesting, but mostly misguided Killer Legends. Then Desmond goes solo on three found-footage films: Inner Demons, Always Watching, and The Night Visitor. Of course, there are some tunes: "Nightmare be thy Name" by Mercyful Fate, "Someone Else's Nightmare" by Early Man, "Tears of a Clown" by Iron Maiden, "Reality" by Voivod, and "Deep Down" by Mondo Cane. [ 1:30:41 || 43.7 MB ]

  21. Aaron and Damien are back with an impromptu wrestling podcast, as they spend most of the show talking about their thoughts on the recent NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn show, and wrestling in general. They even manage to squeeze in some video game discussion, as they cover their recent gaming output and lament the implosion of Konami. [ 1:25:11 || 40.5 MB ]
