  1. Things come to a boiling point for Kellen and James as they continue with the next three episodes of Blue Drop: "Crinum," "Hyoscyamus Niger," and "Laganaria Siceraria." One of these episodes shows the potential the series could have had, while the other two frustrate to no end. Which is which? The answer lies within. 2. This time, on the long-awaited return of Dying in the Gutters, Chris and Desmond dive into Tomb of Dracula #20-23 and Giant-Size Chillers #1. In this episode, Dracula cock-blocks teenagers, boots dudes in the balls, takes his daughter to a rugby game, and faces off against a super-powered br... I can't say it here. Seriously, why are you reading this? Listen you mortal peon, and pray that you don't get thrown against a wall. Episode 212

It seems like a break from the norm is becoming the status quo lately. But the car chase movie is a cult genre unto itself, and Darryll's a big fan. So that's what the boys thought they were going to see in this week's Roadkill Review of Drive. Then Desmond brings it back to horror with a review of the killer car film Super Hybrid. Turn the ignition and tune into WDMP for the following crazy car tunes: "You Drive Me Nervous" by Alice Cooper, "Drive" by Amen, "Hybrid Moments" by The Misfits, and "The Helldriver" by Voivod. Episode 31

Alright. I'm just going to put this out there right now. I know you're all excited. First episode of the Mass Effect playthrough. Paragons, renegades, and such. It's good fun for all. That said, this episode does not contain any blue alien sideboob. I repeat: there is no blue alien sideboob. Please back away from the podcast and go quietly. There are other things you should be doing, like watching robot jump kicks, rolling boulders down hills, and experiencing the wonders of Pterodactyl Hell. 5. In the first edition of the brand new Waiting for the Trade, Bristol residents Tom Hemmings and Chris Gannon class the segment up by taking a look at the indie comic Love and Capes: Wake Up Where You Are, and the British mainstay Judge Dredd: The Apocalypse War. Between those, though, they cover the good ol' American superhero comic The Thanos Imperative. USA! USA! USA! Episode 12

Episode 12 is strutting into town like a fresh piece of Watcher. What do stables of psychotic vampires have to do with the perverted fantasies of old British men? What episode does Hannah compare to a classic Twilight Zone episode, and Preston calls a piece of throat-fucking moralizing? Which villain is compared to both Jabba the Hut, and a certain part of the female anatomy? Where does possibly the biggest difference in the Heroes' opinion to date come in? And who wants a root beer? That, or paint thinner will do just fine. Join the Heroes as they cover "Gingerbread," "Helpless," "The Zeppo," and "Bad Girls." Episode 10

Ian Wilson and Dave Probert return to waffle their way aimlessly through two more episodes of Blake's 7. In "Pressure Point," Blake leads an assault on the Federation's computer control centre on Earth, but one of the crew ends up paying the price for Blake's recklessness. In "Trial," Travis faces a war crimes tribunal that is being manipulated by Servalan, and Blake is trapped on a sentient planet while the crew decides whether or not to abandon him. Plus, how to explain a continuity error through the medium of lesbian porn, which Doctor Who companion would make a rubbish pimp, Dave hurls a variety of genital-based insults at Blake, and Ian becomes distressed by one episode trying to emulate "The Web." Episode 211

Chop up a line and bang a groupie! It's a rock n' roll themed episode of Dread Media. The show is co-headlined by reviews of 80s rockabilly masterpiece Streets of Fire and 70s cocaine-fueled rock opera Phantom of the Paradise. Songs from said films include: "Nowhere Fast" and "Tonight is What it Means to be Young" by Fire Inc., and "Phantom's Theme (Full Version)" and "The Hell of it" by Paul Williams. Yes. I said Paul Williams. [ 1:26:28 || 41.7 MB ] The above is from: http://www.earth-2.net/podcasts/dreadmedia/episodes/dreadmedia_211.mp3
  10. As the hosts continue their Tool retrospective, they go in-depth on their first full-length album: Undertow. This record is full of stuff that we'll see more of on the next venture. Damien steals Desmond's title only seconds into the show, making for a very tense relationship between the two. Perhaps that's why Damien didn't enjoy Desmond's Britney Spears analogy. Or maybe it's because he has no sense of humor. You decide. I have, I write the copy. [ 1:11:30 || 34.6 MB ] The above is from: http://www.earth-2.net/podcasts/droppedd/episodes/droppedd_001-02.mp3
  11. As The Doctor attempts to save his own life from a small group of undying mutants ("Mawdryn Undead"), and then the lives of those suffering from a leprosy-like disease ("Terminus"), Turlough is introduced as the Black Guardian's sort-of-unwilling lackey / assassin, a retired Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart makes his return, and Nyssa bids the TARDIS and her friends farewell. Episode 11 stumbles into town, and there are crazy bitches, demons, lovesick vampires, and unspeakable evils walking about. Is the Glove of Lagos the Powerglove or the Orgasmoglove, and why is it so baaaaad? Which three characters show up unexpectedly? How sexy is Doppelganger Willow? What does the magic of snow Jesus Christmas have to do with anything? And which of these episodes ranks as a consistent top five of Buffy for both Preston and Hannah? Plus, Will Ackerman makes a guest appearance, and he can't slow this bus down, otherwise he's gonna die. Listen to the Heroes cover "Revelations," "Lovers Walk," "The Wish," and "Amends." Episode 209

In this episode, Desmond gets drunk and stares at hot Swedish women. One hot Swedish woman in particular: the gorgeous Christina Lindberg. But it's not creepy, because he's joined by DW, right? Anyway, the guys review the classic exploitation flick Thriller: A Cruel Picture. Then Desmond goes solo on Wide Open. Non-Swedish music by: "Stickin' In My Eye" by NOFX, "Thriller" by Aereogramme, "Open Door" by Pennywise, and "Around the Fur" by Deftones. The album: Opiate, their 1992 EP. Hear the boys dissect this less-than-stellar debut by referencing French brothels, bands they have fought and will fight, Yngwie Malmsteen, and more. It'll blow your face right off. [ 56:15 || 27.3 MB ] The above is from: http://www.earth-2.net/podcasts/droppedd/episodes/droppedd_001-01.mp3
