  1. I have never been this excited for a film, EVER. The first Prequels I was going in expecting to be let down, so I didn't get excited. This will be the culmination of 6 years of waiting.... and well, I can't wait!! :)

There is no way they can fuck this up, I am however worried about the amount of stuff I think they need to fit in.

  2. For what's it worth, I always enjoyed Hatcher and Cain as Lois and Clark, always seemed pretty natural. But, knowing that isn't going to happen, how about...

Lois Lane: Bridget Moynahan. (credit, my brother) Right age, was good in Sum of All Fears as the determined doctor.

    OR

Stacy Haiduk. Has the ice queen look down pat and is around the right age.

Clark/Superman: Rory Cochrane. I loved him in Dazed and Confused and Empire Records. Think he could really transform himself into a lead hero.

    OR

Michael T. Weiss. While only seeing him in the Pretender mainly, I think he has the hero quality needed.

Lex: Kiefer Sutherland. Bald Head would make him so much more evil!!

    OR

Ron Rifkin. Sloane from Alias would make a devilish Lex.

Perry: Mandy Patinkin. Full of energy, a bit of center, and remember The Princess Bride.

  3. she's won an Oscar and so her ego's exploded,

Denzel Washington deserved his Oscar, he is a great actor,

No to stay off topic, but CRAP. Denzel did not deserve that Oscar. He should have got one for Hurricane or Malcolm X. It was a travesty when he won it, made more so by Julia 'overated' Roberts saying it was worthy.

The academy has a history of giving the award to actors who play handicapped or disabled characters, yet in that year there were 3 (Russel Crowe, Sean Penn, Ed Harris) yet none of them received the gong. If Forest Gump deserved an Oscar, so did Crowe.

Halle and Denzel both got their Oscars as a politcal statement after S11, to show the world that America was open and accepting to all races. Anyone that thinks otherwise is deluding themselves.

Back to the topic. Halle, die die die. You haven't done anything worth talking about. the most press you ever got was accepting $1million for showing your tits. Stay away from my screen

  4. I heard a report saying that beast wasn't going to be in it because there were too many 'blue' characters already, which I thought was weird.

I am very fearful of who they think are "really good casting ideas" for Gambit. Don't be suprised if we see Jim Carrey in the role.

I know this is a broken record with me, but what is the f$#'n big deal about Halle? She was easily the weakest character in both X-men movies, giving Storm a bigger part in the next movie would just be riddiculous.....

  5. Tought choice, very tought choice. I really liked Blade I, Dorf was at his best and Snipes wasn't too, well, Snipes.

Spiderman I thought really took the next step in the Comic to Movie Genre, no thanks to the brilliant special effects and a great cast (J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson was a crack up).

X-men and X-men 2, apart from Halle as Storm, were pretty much perfect. I have no idea who is doing the casting for these movies, but keep it up. Ian McKellen and Hugh Jackman pretty much steal every scene they are in.

In the end I went with X-men I, as it avoided the pitfall every other Comic2Movie has made; It didn't kill off the villains. Why did they do this in Batman, Spiderman, Hulk, etc. It just doesn't make any sense what so ever. That is why X-men I gets my vote.

  6. Your choices speak volumes, my friend.  Volumes!

    3. Shadow Cat <----- underageWhen I first read X-men we were the same age, the love affair continues

    2. Rogue <----- can't touch herI like a challenge

    1. Harley Quin <----- psychoThere would never, NEVER be a dull moment

But yes, I am also a sadist.:evil::evil:

  7. Ok but Gambit has to be the smooth cajun, not the dopey surfer. Keanu would do to Gambit what Arnie did to the Mr Freeze.

Thats why I picked Matthew McConaughey as gambit, he is smooth, can get the accent down pat and was pretty kcik ass in Reign of Fire. The martial arts can be taught.

  8. I too used to read it religously and for its time was pretty extordinary. However as you have all mentioned, Todd got a bit lazy. I think it had something to do with how woefull the movie was. Which is weird because MJW as Spawn was really good. The rest of the cast just sucked.
