  1. Brock could barely act while he was wrestling, let alone given a major role in a super budget film.

Prolly just cuz he looks quite a bit like him is why I thought that, & it's better than some things I heard, when there was a rumor that Venom would be in #2 it looked like it would be Vin f'n Diesel

  2. I love getting the eps ahead of you, I liked Task Force X, and the other was good, but not great.

Also, I hate the Canadian postal system, me wantee those JL/JLU eps for my PSP.

PS though I got myself into this problem, does anyone have a good excuse for getting a package from Atlanta (and the truth does not work here)

  3. Starting tonight Adam Sessler has left X-Play in order to do a late night talk show on G4 (I'm guessing something along the lines of Unscrewed.)

They got guest hosts on tonight. So far they've had Kevin Parrera (go kill yourself) Tina Wood(she's not funny) Adam 2.0 (bleh) & Johnny Extreme (good)

I want my Sessler back, unless they get someone really good, I might stop watching the show altogether (and I loved this show.)

Sorry Morgan, you were good, buy you needed Sessler.

Thank You G4 you have now officially assimilated TechTV. Fuck You.

  4. :lmfao:

I just got back from Thunder Bay.

PSPs sold at the Future Shop over there were $100 more than they are here in Manitoba!! And you don't even get to pick the game!!!!

    Northern Ontario truly sucks

  5. First off I loved the last one the Disembodied voice "Usually here I'd introduce Adam Sessler & Morrrrgan Webb, but I Quit, so screw you"

Also seeing as how "I really hope I'll never again have to introduce AS & MW" was the last intro the intern said which Adam replied to with something along the lines of "no problem" I think he'll be back, if the Disembodies Voice don't come back, they'll here about it

  6. This isn't really related to JLU per se, but it was the final three episodes of JL--Starcrossed.  I've been watching them lately and I have to say how much they ruled.  Batman pretty much owns the second and third episodes with his dialogue.  When he and the rest of the JL are in the Batcave fighting hawk soldiers, he throws the batarangs at the Hawk soldiers and they just flash when stuck to their chestguards:

    Soldier: Your weapons are pitiful.

    Batman: Wait for it...

(Hundreds of bats' eyes open up in the background and fly at the Hawkmen and rip them to shreds.)

There are plenty of other great moments like when they all reveal their secret identities to each other.  Anyone else seen this 3-parter?  It's the turning point between the JL and JLU, so I'd say it's pretty much required viewing.  The whole thing really shows the human sides of all of the members of the League.

That story seriously rules - being at uni (and in the UK - I dunno if they've been shown over here yet) I haven't caught any of series 3, but it sounds like this story basically sets it up once the Hawkgirl business is ended. Nice mix of story and humour (The Flash destroying part of Wayne Manor was hilarious). It's these cartoon series' that make me a quasi-comic fan.

Yeah I saw it last spring, it did rule in all concievable ways
