JackFetch
Take my word for it. Don't ever buy a Polaroid HDTV. Mine is broken for the second time since I got it, and their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. It took me months to get the part the first time, and I had to install it myself. What's the most reliable brand that you have seen?

JackFetch
It locked up and I couldn't do anything, so I had to unplug it. Now it has no power. This is the second time it's happened, and you have to replace the module, which is basically all the electronics. I'm done with it this time. I'm going to give it away to anyone that wants it, or I'm throwing out. I'm glad I got it free, or else I'd be really pissed. Go here, type in Polaroid, and you'll see I'm not the only one with problems. http://www.ripoffreport.com/

JackFetch
I got an LG HDTV, no problems with it, except it has no power off switch it only goes to standby. Both of mine are the same way. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to turn it on without the remote when I got them.
