Darque Edge
Marvel has recently launched Icon, a new subdivision, flagshipped by 'Powers'. What does this new subdivision mean? Simple. It's creator owned stuff, hence Powers making the jump from Image to Marvel. Now what this could mean for Marvel, is a huge amount of quality, mature comics. What do you think? Thoughts on the subject?
Missy
It's hard to address this right now, because Powers is the lone title. Kabuki is set to follow, but until they add several more titles, I can't say if this imprint will work. However, what I can say is that Marvel insists that this isn't their Vertigo. Darque Edge
It certainly has a lot more in common with Vertigo than, say, Marvel MAX. The fact that it's non-marvel universe stuff for starters. Actually, that reminds me. What the fuck was with Vertigo? I remember when half of the titles were DCU set (swamp thing, Hellblazer, Sandman), but now, they don't seem to be. John Constantine has gone to New York, for example, which doesn't exist in the DCU. Is it just me that finds this weird?
