Both would have to be taken (and kept at) to the end of time to be killed. Proteus vs. any obscenely powerful DC Villain. Actually, come to think of it, is there anything that can defeat Proteus? For instance, James Bond v Solid Snake is a great idea because it's a crossover we'll never see and opens the door for lengthy, hard-fought debates. But therein lies another problem. A lot of us (and I'm guilty of this too) simply post the name of the guy we want to win (if we post at all) without ever really saying why.
