slothian
Wes Anderson, the director behind "Rushmore", "The Royal Tenenbaums" and the upcoming "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" is all set to do his first full-length animated movie - an adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic, The Fantastic Mr. Fox according to Empire Online. Anderson intends to use old-fashioned stop-motion animation to bring to life Dahls twisted and funny tale of a crafty fox who finds himself and his family marked for death by three evil farmers who are pissed about having the wily rascal off half their chicken stocks every night. At present, theres no word on when the movie will begin production, or if Henry Selick will oversee the stop-motion effects. But the Revolution Studios film will be the second movie in a row that Anderson will co-write with Noah Baumbach. Thanks to 'Ruff' From Darkhorizons.com Another 'James & the Giant Peach'? Alright by me, as long as it isn't as cutesy as the aforementioned film.
