JackFetch Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Megamind is a diabolically funny, and satirical take on the superhero genre. We follow the story of Megamind, the most brilliant supervillain the world has ever known – and the least successful. Over the years, he has tried to conquer Metro City in every imaginable way. Each attempt, a colossal failure thanks to the caped superhero known as "Metro Man." The super hero movie as know it will never be the same again. http://www.superherohype.com/news/articles/103234-exclusive-the-new-megamind-poster Quote
YazzyDream Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Meh, not loving the way this looks. Overall the style looks kinda... generic? I dunno, it just seems like there's a distict lack of... good textures? Why does everything looks so spotless? Personally I like the way Despicable Me looks (another Super Villan feature.) But the trailer made me chuckle, so I'm willing to give it a shot. Kinda seems like how Monsters Vs. Aliens was a fun popcorn flick. Quote
JackFetch Posted July 2, 2010 Author Report Posted July 2, 2010 To me, it looks like a complete ripoff of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Quote
KnightWing Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 To me, it looks like a complete ripoff of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. It's a similar dynamic, but it seems different enough that it can stand on its own. Quote
JackFetch Posted September 7, 2010 Author Report Posted September 7, 2010 I saw a trailer for it the other day. They gave it away that Mega Man dies. Quote
MaxPower Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Why did I read that spoiler... We need a new spoiler tag for really stupidly big spoilers. Or maybe layers spoilers. Are you sure you want to read this? Really sure? Quote
JackFetch Posted September 7, 2010 Author Report Posted September 7, 2010 It's in the trailer, so it's not that big of a spoiler. Quote
KnightWing Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Apparently, that's the main plot of the movie. Superman dies, and Lex Luthor has to decide what he's going to do with himself after that. Quote
