JackFetch
ABC's "Charlie's Angel" television reboot may have found it's trio of female investigators in Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh, Deadline is reporting. Ilonzeh, as reported last week, is said to be a lock while Kelly and Taylor are eyed and in negotiations. The article also suggests that the Angels of the reboot will include the names Kate and Abby (Ilonzeh and Taylor, respectively). Kelly's character was apparently supposed to actually be called Kelly, but, assuming she signs, the coincidence will be changed before shooting begins. As in the original show, the series' focus will be on three women who work as a team of private investigators, receiving their orders from the mysterious Charlie Townsend (to be voiced, in the new series, by Robert Wagner). The popular 70's series ran for five seasons and, in 2000, launched a feature film franchise starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. That film also turned out a 2003 sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Barrymore is among the producers of the new series which is said to update the setting from Los Angeles to Miami. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=73557#ixzz1CI3ixVjT
prez
While those three are serious wank material, that will suck ass. And it's not like we'd even get as much TnA as we got back in the 70s, so what's the point?
