Koete Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 Sherlock Holmes producer Lionel Wigram has landed the film rights to RASL, the sci-fi noir comic by Bone creator Jeff Smith, Deadline reports. The adaptation is envisioned as a franchise for Warner Bros. Debuting in 2008, the series follows an ex-military scientist turned art thief who jumps through space and time, searching for his next big score while trying to escape his past. But he soon faces an assassin’s bullet and stumbles onto a mystery that not only threatens to expose his own illegal activities but could also uncover one of the world’s most dangerous and sought-after secrets. The Warner Bros.-based Wigram tells Deadline he bought the rights to RASL after it was brought to his attention by Peter Eskelsen, vice president of Wigram Productions.
