JackFetch
After playing second fiddle to Nick Fury, Tony Stark and Thor, Phil Coulson is finally getting his just desserts. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agent stars in a new short film aptly titled, Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant. The first clip from The Consultant features footage that fills in the gap of time between Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk. [spoilers ahead] Do you remember when Tony Stark made a surprise visit to General Ross? Were you wondering why they sent Stark instead of somebody—anybody else? Here's your answer. The Consultant fun doesn't stop here—there's more to come. Marvel also has a soon-to-be-released short called A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer. In it, Coulson and a few supporting characters will bridge the gap between the action in Iron Man 2 and Thor. Agent Coulson might not have the prestige and honor of Nick Fury, but at least he gets a mini-movie highlighting his cool, behind-the-scenes antics. Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant will appear on the DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray of Thor, which hits shelves on Sept. 13. http://blastr.com/2011/08/annoying-shield-agent-fro.php This is a really cool idea, and I hope they bundle them all onto their own dvd/Blu-Ray. SuaveStar
Yeah, it is a great idea for something extra to put on the DVD's. As a standalone I'd call it a rip-off deal. But as a part of the Thor Blu-Ray, they've made me more tempted to get the film when it comes out.
JackFetch
I love that the next one is titled "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer".
Molly
Coulson has consistently bored me in every film. He's just generic government guy. He's never outright hurt the films, but I fail to see the appeal of this beyond more Avengers hype.
Venneh
See, if they make it something like Dug's Big Mission or something with things going horribly, hilariously wrong, etc, I might be interested.

JackFetch
The next short, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer" is expected to arrive with the Captain America: The First Avenger DVD and Blu-ray and, thanks to the short's cinematographer David Myrick, a preview is now available through Vimeo and viewable in the player below: Again, the short stars Coulson and, this time, details the events that transpire between Iron Man 2 and Thor.
