Koete
On the heels of yesterday’s news about The Annihilator comes word that Lionsgate has acquired the rights to another Stan Lee superhero property for Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Variety reports that although details of the project remain a secret, it’s described as a “multigenerational superhero movie that spans several decades.” Gough and Millar will write, direct and produce through their Millar/Gough Ink shingle. Lee and Gil Champion also will produce through Lee’s POW! Entertainment. According to the trade paper, comics legend Lee approached Gough and Millar after becoming a fan of their work on Smallville and Spider-Man 2. The duo recently worked on I Am Number Four, and are producing the Sylvester Stallone action movie Bullet to the Head, based on the French graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete.
