It's the ultimate video game gangster verses the coldest comic book vigilante: Tommy Vercetti v The Punisher.
Place: New York City
Conditions: Normal
Time Period: 1980's
After taking control of Vice City, Tommy Vercetti sets his sites on a bigger apple -- the Big Apple in fact.
After serving his country in Vietnam, Frank Castle wanted nothing more than to settle down with his wife and kids. Their deaths at the hands of mobsters, however, spoiled his dreams, and birthed The Punisher.
Clichéd or not, New York City isn't big enough for the two of them, and someone's leaving in a body bag.

Last I saw Lobo was a kid hanging out with Young Justice... what the Hell happened? He's not still a kid, is he? I thought I saw that he has his own series again.
-
Lame! That was such a great device to limit his use of power and the length of the comic.
-
Appearance: Decreased the width of the site from 95% to 80%
Appearance: Changed the background color from white to dark blue/purple

We've seen a lot of comics made into movies and TV shows, but we don't often see the reverse. So, with that said, what movies or TV shows need to be made into comics? It could be a straight adaptation, a miniseries, or ongoing.
TV:
Sopranos
MOVIES:
28 Days Later
The Lord of the Rings (I know it's a book!)
Harry Potter (I know it's a book!)
From Dusk Till Dawn
Heathers
The Man with No Name trilogy
Kill Bill

Upon Gambit's first appearance he didn't charge an item with his hands, he did it another way. How?

SNES SMW Yoshi wins this hands down, people. He was new and wonderful and cute, now he's just another character in the Mario world. Still cute, however.

Why did Odin adopt Loki?
Seeing as how it's been over 48 hours without an answer, I'll give it away: Odin led a war that killed Loki's birthfather, and decided to honor the fallen king by adopting his infant son.
Here's another question: We recently learned that Logan was not Weapon X, but Weapon 10 -- damn those Roman numerals! Shortly thereafter Logan discovered who Weapon I was. Who was Weapon I?

Batgirl #7, page 22 (splash page) -- Lady Shiva punching Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)
Batgirl #11, page 11 -- Batman kicking around David Cain
Cable #5, cover -- Cable diving away from Sinsear
Fantastic Four (v3) #30, page 22 (3/4 splash page) -- Sue, Johnny, and Ben; Reed in Doom's armor; the return of Doctor Doom in makeshift armor
GI Joe #2 (Image) pin-up -- Roadblock cooking dinner (not so sure about the issue number; it's either 2 or 3)
Nightwing (v2) #22, pages 2-3 (double-page spread, splash) -- Nite-Wing and Justice Force (distorted/dream versions of Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and Tarantula)
Nightwing (v2) #49, pages 22 (splash page) -- Torque holding someone hostage
Nightwing (v2) #50, pages 24 -- Nightwing, Torque, and some woman getting blown up
Ravage 2099 #24, page 3 -- some guys attacking Ravage
Robin #53, pages 28-29 (double-page spread, splash) -- destroyed Gotham City, no one special
Spider-Man 2099 #26, pages 2-3 (double-page spread, 1/2 splash) -- Spidey 2099 hangs himself (dream sequence)
Transmetropolitan #3, pages 4-5 (double-page spread, splash) -- a riot seen from the rooftops, no one special
There are three other pages in the basement, but someone spilt soda on them. Thankfully they weren't pages I cared that much about:
C.O.P.S. #?, page ? -- unknown characters
Marvel Christmas Special, page 4 of the Punisher story -- Punisher (dressed as Santa) stopping a thug
Robotech #?, page 20
I also have the original script for The Saga of the Swamp Thing #37 written by Alan Moore -- this is the first appearance of John Constantine (It's actually a copy from Moore's collection.)

Well, I have the Batman: Masterpieces book. Does that count?
Eh, not really. I'm talking about the real, hand-drawn/inked pages.
-
Stark for one reason: He makes weapons, Bruce does not.
-
I have a small collection of original comic book art, and I was wondering if anyone else on the board collects these one of a kind pieces of comic book history.
If so, list the book and issue the piece is from, as well as the characters featured on the page.

But the thing that sucked was that not even being invincible could save you if you fell in the holes.
True, but none of Mario's powers prevented death from that.
-
Yoda, it does get boring playing it in one-player mode. Any of us can attest to that. The fun of it is in the multiplayer. You can alter the match types almost infinitely. Play it with 3 other people and you'll probably like it a lot more.
I don't have three people to play it with. And even if I did, I only have two controllers.

I'm talking about games like Final Fight, Super Street Fight 2, Lost Vikings, Doom....Mortal Kombat Advanced , etc. Anything besides the usual Mario or Metroid games.
Hell yeah! Lost Vikings is wicked hard!
Super Street Fight 2 is on the GBA?

After reading this back and forth, I'm going to power up my GC in a little while and give this game another shot, but I doubt it will please me.

And should this thread be changed to the "Official Smash Brothers Melee thread"?
Done... and I should probably pin it too, but I won't 'cause I still don't get this game.
I get it, so I shall pin it. Cheap Heat's first official mod.
What was that you said on DS9 when Lauren was promoted to Admin...? Oh, I remember, "I've got a feeling Cheap Heat will become Cock Hair." Well guess what...
I kid!

You are such a whore. But that's a good thing!

I knew I should have said "alcoholism". From this point on only sentient beings, or I will lock this. Sorry to be a dick, but this can be a fun game if we don't get too silly.
I'm going back to Daredevil, and saying he was beaten by Bullseye when he killed Karen Page.
-
I was always partial to Star Mario (invincible) with a Flower. What could possibly beat an unstoppable fireball-throwing Italian plumber? Nothing I say, nothing! Since that isn't up there, I'll vote Fire Mario.
Feather Mario (with the cape) would own Flying Raccoon Mario any day of the week, people.

24 would make for an awesome comic, however flipping through 22 pages in less than 10 minutes isn't the same as watching the show in one-hour blocks. And if you take the real time element away from 24, it loses its specialness.
