  1. Well, if that is true that they not only lost the creators of 007, but also another one of Rares really good developer, I'd feel soo much better about losing them. Back on topic... I honeslty don't think we'll see any big time Rare games coming to the X-Box. Sure, we might see something like Kameo or possibly some other average title, but I think they'll save their heavy hitter for when the X-Box 2 hits selves. If we do see a Rare game, it'll probably show up at E3 in some shape or form. If not, I honeslty doubt Rare will be releasing anything for Microsofts big black box.
  2. Wha? No love for N-Gage??? Gee, what a surprise.
  3. I vote Batman, cause I know shit about DD.
  4. I personally found the Castlevania series to be the most enjoyable one on the GBA, hell I'd consider Aria of Sorrow to be the closest thing to SotN that the GBA or possibly any other console/hand held Castlevania game will ever get. Just some really fun games. What does everyone else think?
  5. That's because Nintendo hired all the good Rare guys before they sold off Rare. Very clever move. Except for the creators of Golden Eye 007, who're now the Free Radicalz and working on the next Time Splitters. btw Who has Nintendo signed from Rare? I never heard anything like that.
  6. Yeah, but it's hard to live up to what could arguably be the greatest video game of all time.... or atleast in alot of video gamers minds. Wind Waker is an awesome game... not better then OOT, granted. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it's still one of the best games out there.
  7. Yeah! If only there were Sega icons that the Nintendo all-stars could beat the snot out of..... Sega+Nintendo+Fighting game+Online=MUST BUY! MUST BUY! MUST FREAKING BUY!!!!!!
  8. I don't think Skies of Arcadia Legends did very well on the Game Cube, so I'll say that's my buried treasure. Skies is a original role playing and one of the best ones*And only * that the Game Cube has in that genre. It's got exploration, turn based fight scenes and a incredibly entertaining story line. It's even got some added things from it's Dreamcast counter part such as being able to hunt down people who're on the "most wanted" list and defeating them for some extra cash. Beating this game straight through would probably take somewhere near 25-35 hrs to do, but there are tons of side quests to go through even after you've finally beat the game. Skies of Arcadia Legends is *As far as I know* a $40 game, but for GC fans who've been dying to get their hands on a RPG and can't wait for ToS, this is a must have.
  9. I didn't play much of that one game Rare released*Something to do with Ghouls, but the name escapes my mind*, but from what I did play on a demo I must say that isn't the same Rare that I absolutely loved through my SNES-N64 years. Now granted, it's just one game, but will Rare even be able to release another game for the X-Box with all the talks about all their games being moved onto the X-Box 2. Which brings me to my question, does anyone think we'll see a game such as Conker or Perfect Dark on the original X-Box or will they all be canned and moved to the new Mircosoft console that'll probably come out sometime in 2006?
  10. Reason 1-It's a very fun fighter that was expanded upon an already really good fighter, adding some nice little elements to make the game more strategic Reason 2- It's a really addictive multiplayer game Reason 3-There are tons and tons of secrets to unlock, and that ain't a bad thing at all Reason 4-I dunno about anyone else, but I loved how they kept track of all the records in Vs Mode. Not to mention keeping track odd little misc. like "Whose fallen the most" or "Person whose taking the most damage in a battle" Reason 5- Lots and lots of different things to do, such as fighting in Story Mode that has levels from all sorts of old Nintendo games and hitting a base ball to see how far you can get it Reason 6-Winning trophys of other Nintendo game characters, but I'm sure I'm the only person who liked that, too Well, that's all I can name off the top of my head. But if anyone else wanna add something, they're welcome to do so.
  11. This really is a difficuly decision for me to decide on, but I'll just say it's a tie between Animal Crossing, Viewtiful Joe and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker until I can come up with a more concreate answer. -edit-Check that... add Smash Brothers Melee to that tie. I can't possibly ignore such a great game.
  12. Good for you cos I'd find it very difficult. That said, I can't be touched as Link I"m pro with both, so nuh And this is exactly why we need this game to go Online. And from the looks of things, Yoda, you're still alone in this.
  13. The second Ninja Turtles was alright, but the first Turtles game was easily the best one that I've played
  14. Because people needed someone else to kick the living crap out of when they decided to just practice, and Jigglypuff was one of my most famous beat up dolls in the game. This thread actually makes me wanna play that game again.
  15. Yes you are. Sucks to be you, huh. Actually, a couple guys back at the Oratory have voiced their dislike for the game, saying that it's over-rated and all. But yeah, not many people hate this game cause it freaking rules. Now if only Nintendo would get this game online....
  16. What's your favorite FPS on the PC and why?
  17. I'd say it's debatable as to what the best Game Cube game of all time is so far, atleast in opinion. On one hand, I really loved the Wind Waker and enjoyed the whole "at sea" enviorment alot more then most of the people I know did. It was also a Legend of Zelda game, which basically, automatically means it's going to be awesome. :respect: But on the other hand, I really enjoyed a bunch of other games on the Game Cube that I consider to be just as fun, if not may'be even better. Animal Crossing was great game that I played for over a year and a half before I finally got bored of it, Skies of Arcadia rules all and Super Smash Brothers Melee was just freaking awesome back when I first got it. So I honestly dunno if I would say it is the single greatest game on the Game Cube, but it damn sure is among the top five games and is definitely a game that every GCer should own.
  18. What would it take for you to wanna purchase this thing or is there no hope in convincing you buy an N-Gage? My response....
  19. Alot of the GBA games being released are old titles that came from another system. Do you prefer the GBA to be a system with alot of previously made games or would you much rather Nintendo and other GBA developers to focus on making brand new ones?
  20. Wolverine would gut Batman just like he has everyone else.
  21. Metroid Prime 2 still has no votes?!?! Wow, and I figured it'd be owning this poll.
  22. I believe I only played one or possibly even two games for the Sega Master system, and none of them were really that good. So I'd say NES by a long shot.
  23. Another person besides me and Cheap Heat, hurray! On topic, anything that has the Legend of Zelda on it automatically makes it one of the greatest systems out there. The simple fact that it has games like Metroid, Eternal Darkness and Viewtiful Joe only makes the system even better.
  24. Yeah, there've been a couple rumors on what has happened with that project, I even heard one person suggest that it'd become the next Legendary Wings. Which I guess is an old Capcom game that invovled a character flying and shooting things*Never heard of the game before this, so I wouldn't know*. But yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing it turned into Kid Icarus. Pity I don't remember much about the game other then watching others play it.
  25. I've got really high hopes for Resident Evil 4 right now, so that game gets my vote. Just barely inching out over Prime 2 and Tales of Symphonia.
