  1. WHat's up with it not saving your energy tanks?  I had 4 energy tanks, saved my game, and when I started back up the next day, I had zero energy tanks?

I don't know about eight, but I actually lost all my energy tanks whenever I died in Mega Man 2. Haven't found out yet if I still have mine in 3 yet after shutting the game off, but I haven't lost any of my energy tanks in that game yet even though I've died against quite a few of the robot bosses. Might just depend on what game you're playing.

I've never lost any energy tanks after dieing, but then again I don't die much :P .

    Show off. <_<

    Kidding... I'm just kidding.

It just seems that if you stop a game, when you come back to it, even after saving it, you lose all your energy tanks, and this is frustrating

Yeah, I doubt since it was Mega Man 8 that was a problem with the original. Maybe the saves with AC just don't pick up on that for some weird reason.

I don't know about eight, since I've bearly played that one. However, the energy tank problem I was referring to happens so far on 1-7. I don't know if it happens on eight as I haven't played much of it, I can't stand the voice acting for too long.

  3. This game kicks ass. I've had it for a couple of days and am loving going through the games again. God, I had forgotten how horrid the voices are in number 8. WHat's up with it not saving your energy tanks? I had 4 energy tanks, saved my game, and when I started back up the next day, I had zero energy tanks?

  4. It seems people always bring in graphics as being a top thing for what makes a game good. So i was wondering just how much emphasis do you put on graphics when decideing on how well youl ike a game. For example: Would you play something with the gameplay of Bubsy 3d if it had the greatest graphics you have ever seen.

I, myself, couldn't care either way about graphics. If they look good, then that's nice, if they don't, I don't feel like it takes anything away from the game or it's gameplay. Just wondering as I have seen a couple posts around here where it seems some people judge a game's overall worth based on how good it looks.

  5. Am I the only person in the known universe who thinks this game blows?

Nope, I agree with you. I loved the first one on N64, but for some reason, i just couoldn't get into this one, perhaps i need to spend more time with it.

  6. I think marvel did a good job of making all their super villans look pretty lame in the sept. 11, twin towers comic they did. Something about seeing Dr. Doom helping people out of the rubble just doesn't make sense. For crying out loud he has the word Doom in his name, and here he is, side by side with his enemies, helping people. lame.

  7. yeah, cy-gor came out pretty early, but i still think that is when the comic took a nose dive. When it started it had plenty of potential, interesting story elements; i.e. his power counter, but then macfarlane got lazy or something, and the comic just isn't as good.

  8. Which games do you think have been underrated in thier contributions to videogames.

I was having a discussion with my friend the other day about this, and I would have to say the original Darkstalkers. This was the game that revolutionized Capcom fighting games in my opinion. It was thier first game to have a super guage, air blocking, parries, air combos, and more. Not to mention it had some of the coolest characters and animations ever. The shame being alot of people have never heard of it, or played it.

So what game do you think should get more notice for it's contributions.

  9. i used to readthe comic until they introduced cy-gor, the robot gorilla, that's the point at which the comic went downhill and never looked back. Such a shame as the comic had potential to be better than that.
