    Fans of the original think it ruins their version. 

    I have heard nothing but rejoicing from fans.  

    I was talking about reboots in general. George thinks they are going against Gene's wishes, when it doesn't matter because Gene has been out of the picture for a long time. As long as the overall theme is the same, little things don't matter. It was a tribute to him and what he has done for LGBT relations, and he can't even take a compliment.

    I watched the first two episodes and lost interest. I'm sure I'll pick it up again at some point but I'm not all that impressed so far. I never read the comic by the way so I'm just looking at it as a show.

    I think it's safe to say that vast stretches of time can pass between scenes, especially before the one that hints at what's going on next season. Remember that this is in a time where it would literally take months to go from country to country, so we have to allow for the fact that a lot of time passes between almost every plot point in the series. It's literally the only time in history when the growth of child actors hinders filmic progress in the opposite. Basically, Tomin's been king for like two years.

    i just saw some confirmation that this scene takes place after they already stopped in Dorne because some of the ships have Martell sails on them. They are already technically in Westeros in the last scene.

    I hope they get away from the preachiness of season 1. Every episode we had to get a speech by Cat Grant about how hard it is to be a woman in a man's world and that Kara can do anything she puts her mind to as long as she doesn't compromise her principles. Not every episode should have a moral to the story. Just have fun with the characters.
