Did you guys see the references to other Steven King properties?
The Overlook Hotel shows up and the letters spell out PENNYWISE with a hand holding balloons.

I'm not paying more than 10 bucks for it. That means it's going to be 30.

Reviews are out, and almost everyone is saying it's not as good as the first one. Also I got spoiled reading one of them, so fuck them. Why would a legitimate reviewer put spoilers in a review for a movie not out yet?

It is a terrible premise. If it was not part of the Superman franchise I might be interested, but it suffers from prequel syndrome. We already know what happens so why do I care?
-
That looks pretty much like I expected, and I won't be watching it.

The shot of him riding the dragon is as bad as anything from Power Rangers.

I know there is another Mission Impossible coming where he has supposedly been training for years for some elaborate stunt, but at some point he's going to have to accept that time is a real thing that can't be stopped.

How many more of these big action blockbusters does Cruise have left in him? He's 54. At some point in the next few years it's going to look laughable.

right at the time where everyone is already scared of clowns.
When I first came to the United States, I never understood why all my peers were afraid of clowns. I have considered carrying a red nose in case I ever get mugged, I just pop it on and the mugger dies of fright.
Blame stupid teenagers and social media.

That looks terrifying. It's hitting right at the time where everyone is already scared of clowns also which is good for getting teenagers to see it.

This trailer did more to kill the hype for me than create it. I'm still going to see it, but I'm going in with lower expectations.

Justice League trailer coming this Saturday.

Yesterday the rumor was Brad Pitt. I'll just wait it out.

I just can't see Felicia Day as evil.

I think it started getting good at episode 5. I've completely turned around how I feel about it. I also think Aubrey Plaza deserves an Emmy. I never thought I would say that.

So I just finished it. I give it a big old shrug. Definitely the worst Marvel thing they have made. It could have been told in two hours and it would have been better. I agree that it's too close to Doctor Strange for this parallel story.

The problem is the pacing. I like the story, but it drags so much at times that I lose interest.

Has nobody noticed that they still never fixed the original timeline. I mean, Julian isn't supposed to be there. He wasn't there until after Flashpoint. It just keeps screaming at me every time I see him that Barry has just accepted this guy that he never knew before into the group. There is something wrong with him being there.

I liked this movie. Patrick Stewart was amazing. The little girl was great until she started talking. I didn't like the X-24 clone villain. The brutality was what everyone wanted from a Wolverine movie. I kind of like the fact that they never really go into the backstory of the world. We know Xavier accidentally killed 7 X-Men by having a seizure, that one bad guy engineered the end of the mutants, and not much else. What happened to the rest of the X-Men? What was in the North where the kids are going to? What was killing Logan? I like open questions. We don't need to know everything, and the story wasn't about those things anyways.
