Interesting note. They reused the same set from Thor Ragnarok. and just swapped out the weapons. They even used the same red beams.

Superhero shows without the Superhero it is based around are my least favorite kind of shows. Lois Lane: Girl Reporter sounds awful.

Listening to him answer questions about it makes it easier to read between the lines about what he really wants. He wants a patriotic league where nobody has ever been arrested for anything with no social issues ever being brought up. He said even a DUI will keep you from playing. He said that Tim Tebow is welcome to play. He wants a whiter league.

I'm worried about the Solo movie. We are just 4 months away and we have only seen one promo picture. Nobody is talking about it, even on Star Wars sites and forums. Nobody is even asking for a trailer. In the stores they still have the Last Jedi promo stuff up. What is going on with the lack of promotion? They aren't moving it because they moved Deadpool 2 to give it some room.
Edit:Apparently the trailer is dropping on Monday. That still doesn't change the fact that nobody seems interested in this movie, even Disney.

Just came back from Jumanji. It is a direct sequel, which I was unclear about.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I didn't like it. I felt like some of the scenes made no sense, and a couple of them were just middle fingers to the fans.
SpoilerLea flying through space was the dumbest scene I've seen in awhile.
The vacuum of space doesn't kill people in this universe as shown by the bomber not getting sucked out of their ships and having no trouble breathing when they open the bomb bay doors.
The two biggest questions about two of the biggest characters backgrounds didn't matter because fuck you. One was killed off and the other is said to be the child of nobodies.
The whole Luke force ghost fight made zero sense. Now Jedis can project themselves and objects across space enough to look and feel real? That would have been handy before. Oh, except it apparently kills you when you do it for some reason.
The whole space Vegas stuff felt very prequel like.

I'm conflicted about the new episode. I'm happy because the story is moving along and is actually interesting.
SpoilerI don't know how they are portrayed in the comic, but most of the parents aren't actually evil. They were tricked into participating.
The thing I don't like is that it went into full soap opera mode with who likes who. Also, the show is called The Runaways, so do they ever actually run away?

I don't know how much more I can take of this show. Why is Iris the leader of Team Flash? Because they don't know what else to do with her? Barry couldn't phase through the field, until he could. Hey, actor getting probably the biggest role of your career, fuck you, we replaced you with a young handsome black guy halfway through your season. Dibney is the best reason to watch the show now and he barely does anything.

If this happens and there isn't a scene in Deadpool 2 with him wearing Mickey ears, I will be disappointed.

Disney and Fox are closing in on deal, could be announced next week
Disney would get movie and TV assets. Fox would keep news and sports.
Disney's stock price dropped when the news broke.
So does that mean that the only Marvel character they couldn't use without permission would be Spider-Man?

Don't forget about it's advertising budget. I don't think it's going to lose a lot, but I don't think it's going to make a lot either. WB is going to have sit down and decide how they want to move forward with the franchise. I have no doubt they will keep going, but I think they are going to reset and go in a different direction. Maybe not a full reboot, but an overall change in tone and direction. I think we are going to lose Ben Afflec as Batman. He doesn't seem happy in the role anymore if rumors are to be believed.

The kids are great, but I feel like the story is dragging. Three episodes in and we haven't really gone anywhere.

Cable looks better than I could have ever hoped. Who is Terry Crews playing? He is in the shot of them on the plane. I hope they do a "Meet Domino" trailer next.
