  1. Yeah, um... might not wanna get into discussions about Buffy (or ANY Whedon project) with NightAngle. He's... how shall I say it...

    Very opinionated.

How very untrue. I enjoyed Angel.

You could just, y'know, say that. With words. I mean, I don't see why you would think that, because I agree with Hanners. Angel leaving did two things: Gave us an AWESOME spinoff, and let Buffy have a real life. She got to be with Riley and Spike, both relationships adding to her character growth.

    1. What did you think was meant by LOL

    2. Giving us an awesome spinoff has nothing to do with Buffy

    3. And both relationships were among the worst in the history of television Riley cause it was beyond boring and Spike because it was beyond disgusting and despicable to women.

  2. I'm not saying they're not good, cause they are, but I also feel that Angel getting a spinoff show and him finally leaving the show except for the occasional cameo was one of the best things to happen to the series, cause it actually allowed for Buffy to get some development.

    What does that even mean?

It means I'm laughing at the premise that Angel leaving the show was one of the best things to happen to the show.

  4. Each version was a different generation of fans. The tv show was 5 years after the movie, so it really had nothing to do with it. This new one is 7 or 8 years after the series so it makes sense.

Some would argue the series ended in 1999.

Harsh. Buffy had its best episodes after that point

    I respectfully disagree.

1999 is the third season, so you're dismissing Hush, The Body, Intervention, The Gift, Once More with Feeling, Normal Again, loads of the best acted, written and directed episodes. Seasons 2 and 3 might have the best overall arcs but you can't deny the quality of those standalone episodes.

I'm not denying they were good eps, I AM disagreeing that they were better than Innocence, Suprise, Becoming, Amends, Graduation, Angel etc etc.

  6. I don't know why Clark is shooting people with a shotgun, I don't know why there's still a Lex clone running around and I don't know how Clark lost or regained his powers. A lot of things I don't know, but I do know this ep sucked aside from Clark finally getting some.

  7. Many questions. How did Chloe arrange the deal to do the trade off and why would the kidnappers want her in place of Oliver? Why not just take both? Next the beginning of the ep, it wasn't Jor-El's choice to bring Clark back? Ok who's was it? Lois? and finally the end, Clark just randomly sees Pa Kent? Was it a dream? or is Clark losing his mind?

That said the good was Erica Durance in tight jeans and a white tank top. Mega win.

  8. So they answered some questions on a DVD Extra, we didn't have enough time for that on the television show, but there was enough time because we had to sit through a whole season of those flash sideways nonsense? With Jack's imaginary son and fugitive Kate and cop Sawyer?

    Go fuck yourself.

As for the argument "this was a character driven show"........ No it wasn't. The show's foundation was built on mystery since the first episode with Smokey killing the pilot and Charlie asking "Where are we?"

  9. You know I caught Scream 3 on cable last night, and I just don't know how they are making another. The guy who was the mastermind died in the last one. And you know the big twist will be Sidney gets killed and then someone else takes over as the female lead who people want to kill. The more I think about it the less I want to see this movie.

  10. Half-Blood Prince? Awful? What?

Did you watch the movie? Nothing happens in 2 hours until a "heel turn" that is so obviously not a heel turn you can't take it seriously.

EDIT: In fact here's what I said after I saw it

Let me preface this by saying I do not read the books, and I will never read the books that said here it goes:

I saw this last night and got rather annoyed by it, it seemed from the movie that yea Harry's the chosen one and all but lets concentrate on the love story between him and Ron's sister and Harmoine and Ron.

The Dark Lord isn't even in this movie. Now I'm getting mad just thinking about this film. Nothing happens until the last 5 minutes of this movie.

Nothing happens throughout all of them until the last 5 minutes, and Voldemort is only in most of them at the end. They are mysteries, not action movies(books). Can't wait to see your thoughts on the next one since half of it is a camping trip.

I'll rip that apart too if that's all that is.
