Depending on the character. The ninjas, Kenshi and Bo Rai Cho strung together some really decent combos, but for all the solid characters, you had Raiden and Cyrax, who were broken and disjointed as fuck.

It's using the 3D Mortal Kombat engine.
Deadly Alliance and Deception were both very solid games, and they ran on that engine.

Personally, I'll call it the right move for Branagh. He's already done Hamlet, and probably a fuck of a lot better than Jude Law can imagine doing it.

Honestly, Cheadle could be doing this for his kids or for the paycheck or the exposure, hell, he might even be an Iron Man fan. Whatever his reasoning, I have the utmost faith that he'll be fine. I really did enjoy Howard, but am in no way disappointed by this move, either.

Yeah, you have no idea the capabilities of Cheadle if you're only judging those two movies. Do yourself a favor and go rent "Hotel Rwanda" and watch him put on one of the finest performances in the history of film.

He's inspiring at best (Shawshank Redemption), inoffensive at worst (Bruce Almighty), but he has no range. Plenty of actors have made it through life playing one character, and I don't hold it against him. John Wayne was always John Wayne. Jimmy Stewart was always Jimmy Stewart. And Morgan Freeman will always be Morgan Freeman.
And I prefer to think of God as sounding like Rip Torn in Dodgeball.
