  1. In case there is any confusion, Zil is on the right.
  2. To answer your question of how all the characters in different time zones could all be in the same one on the ship in Mawdryn Undead. I always took it that the ship was orbiting in time as well as space so that meant that you could transmat down to a particular time period but time on the ship stayed constant. So when everyone goes up to the ship by various means they are all united in the single timeline on board. If that makes any sense.
  3. Caught up with a couple of episodes of this on YouTube. I haven't seen it since I was in my early teens. I did laugh out loud several time and I enjoyed the character of Longhorn. Who couldn't love a man who looks like a bull with the voice of Johnny Cash?
  4. For those who haven't seen the episode this is what "Disco Zod" Coser looks like.
  5. Thanks for listening Frando. Glad you're enjoying the show.
  6. Great episode guys. Really brought back my childhood trauma of watching Transformers The Movie at the cinema. I have it on DVD and it still holds a place in my affections despite my more grown up side seeing the massive flaws.
  7. I'm a big fan of Babelcolour's work. I recommend checking out his Ten Doctors videos. Very well put together.
  8. I seen the press release on the Big Finish website about this and I must admit I'm quite excited about. B7 Productions have done some audio plays off their own back but with a complete recast. I haven't listened to them myself but I know opinion is divided on them. I have a soft spot for The Sevenfold Crown which was a BBC audio broadcast on Radio 4 in the nineties. It had most of the cast returning and was written by Barry Letts who produced Doctor Who for the bulk of the Pertwee run
  9. Thought you might like to know that Stratford Johns was a big name in the UK because he played the main role in the 60s police show Z-Cars. He was sort of the 60s British Jerry Orbach.
  10. Really like the look of this. I'm not a huge fan of the Cruiser in general but I love the Mission Impossible films and I'm looking forward to seeing gun toting Pegg again.
  11. As Logopolis has just been covered I thought I'd share a crazy theory I've always had about the Watcher and this seemed the place to put it. The Watcher is the Doctor's last body. Decaying and decrepit like the Master once was. He remembers the trouble his fourth self had regenerating so travels back to make sure things run their course and merges with his previous self to maintain a perpetual loop of existence. It was a theory I had in my late teens that I always quite liked despite it being complete and utter nonsense.
  12. And you call me underhanded.
  13. Baker to Davison is one of my earliest childhood memories.
  14. Just been catching up with the last couple of episdodes...is my podcast at war now? WILSON!!!
  15. Great review Mike. Just for your information, the long glass that Xavier is drinking from when he is celebrating is called a yard of ale. I have a friend who downed one of those in about 8 seconds. That was a while ago though.
  16. I watched this in a room of twenty other geeks and it was a great atmosphere. There were cheers and laughter in all the right places and a hallowed silence in the important bits. Overall a cracking episode and from my experience of it a literal crowd pleaser.
  17. I'm happy to accept this as earth 2 feedback. Once we start getting too serious about it the feedback war would stop being fun. Besides I think Mr Wilson is going to need all the help he can get for the next episdode ;-)
  18. If for nothing else he should be censured for being behind the god awful "Doctor in Distress" song.
  19. I would take anything said by Ian Levine with an entire block of salt. He is an arrogant self promoter who wants people to believe that he made a major contribution to the series and if I remember correctly even credits himself with the casting of Colin Baker. The man is an absolute jerk off.
  20. I have thought about this before and decided on the Sixth Doctor. It would never be dull.
  21. At the risk of being accused of shilling over at GeekPlanet we do have a Bablyon 5 podcast called The Babble On Project if some people are looking for a JMS fix.
  22. There may be a few minor spoilers for you. Possibly best avoided for the time being.
  23. The good people on the Highway to Mars podcast are Shake and Blake listeners and asked me to guest on their show to talk all things Blake's 7. You can find the show here
  24. I was over the moon when I looked him up an realised who he was. I think we are going to be hard pressed to better that.
