  1. Dillon and Kris are held captives in Numby Castle, their fate in the hands of Dr. Aristotle Numby while the forces of B.I.T.E. continue their pursuit of our hero! All this and more in Chapter Five of "Dillon and The Voice of Odin"!

Plus: a behind the scenes look at "Dillon and The Bad Ass Belt Buckle" one of the stories in "Four Bullets For Dillon" coming soon from Pulpwork Press!

    DILLON

  2. Everybody check this out. I clamour for more Dillon.

More is on the way, I assure you. FOUR BULLETS FOR DILLON was supposed to be out this month but due to personal stuff as well as my working on projects for Pro Se Productions (The Sovereign City Project) as well as a book I'm co-writing with Joshua Reynolds for Airship 27, it's been pushed back to next month.

But if anybody needs a Dillon fix, I'll tell you what...for the rest of the day, anybody who sends me an email with "Gimme!" in the subject line will get a PDF of DILLON AND THE JUDAS CHALICE.

  3. Dillon is the run with the bad guys hot in pursuit and an unwilling ally in tow! But how long can he stay one step ahead when Her Majesty's Secret Service joins the hunt for him? You'll find out in Chapter 2 of "Dillon And The Voice of Odin"

  4. I like Spike Lee but I have to admit that in most of his movies he's less interested in telling a story than he is in exploring his own issues with race/politics/sex/whatever. But BAMBOOZLED does tell a solid story and he gets amazing performances from Damon Wayans, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Michael Rappaport and Savion Glover.

  5. This was an absolutely engrossing discussion that engaged me from start to finish. It went from being funny, to being deep and downright philosophical.

I agree with your double feature of NETWORK and VIDEODROME and I'd add these two movies if anybody wants to make a full day of it: A FACE IN THE CROWD and BAMBOOZLED. Right there you've got the four best movies ever made about Our God Television.

  6. Tom Hanks didn't get Aids to do Philadelphia and he was great in it. I think there is something wrong with Christian Bale. He gets too into his roles, and is willing to harm his body for them. He basically goes from an anorexic to a body builder. That's not dedication, that's crazy.

There's the story told about an exchange Sir Laurence Olivier and Dustin Hoffman had during the filming of MARATHON MAN. To prepare for a scene where his character had been up all night with no sleep, Hoffman did in fact stay up all night and reported to work on set looking like a wreck. Olivier, upon seeing him, exclaimed; "Dear boy, you look horrible! What happened to you?" Hoffman explained he'd stayed up all night to get in character.

Olivier said to him that there was an easier way to achieve the effect Hoffman was looking for. "What's that?" Hoffman asked.

    Olivier's answer: "It's called acting."

And if you're a fan of Josh Reynolds (and if you're not then you should be) then you certainly want to get in the ground floor of COUNTESS OBLIVION, his new serialized tale over at REVENANCE!
