  1. To be fair, there are only minor variations on the ending. That said, buy some of the DLC, at least one of them solves the ending, can't remember which one. Also, New Vegas is 50 times better. The story was written by the same people who did Fallout 1 and 2 and it shows. Let's just say the world has about 20 more shades of gray, there's a lot more creepy shit and a lot more sex. Oh, and there's cannibals at one point. Can't forget that.

So, I'm looking at the cover of the new Babysitting Mama game and is it bad that I think there's a mini game where she makes a baby pot pie? I mean, you can't make a character who only looks that happy when she's making an awesome dish and then have he holding a baby.

Right, I actually bought all the DLC and played it. Looking back, it was great what they did with all that DLC. The main weakness I see is that the whole super-climax end game battle and choice was just lackluster.

Black Ops, yucky, yucky, yucky. You guys go have fun with that.

  2. ...could you not just revert to a earlier save file?

One hundred hours plus played, I had the main plot finished and 95% of all the other quests and everything. Wouldn't really work to revert to a prior save change things. Also if I wanted an evil character I'd plan a much more cunning skill set.

I'm going to the 12:01am release for COD: Black Ops on Monday night/Tuesday morning--my first such venture for a video game. I get off work at 11:00pm that night, so it works perfectly. I can't wait. This game is going to kick so much ass.

Ewww... ewww... just ah... just don't come near me with black ops okay?

  3. Well, I guess if you try to play on the side of good and make everything the best you can. Then, THEN you get one of the most unsatisfying endings I've ever seen in gaming. But after putting 100+ hours on one playthrough, I am not going through all the again just to see a different ending.

  4. Okay, the opener for BSG S3,

Please, shave of the mustache, I beg you. Poor Kara is getting her little mind kicked in the groin over and over again. Lee is now a fatso and married to what's-her-name-please-die. Thankfully he's leaving and hopefully won't be seen for quite some time. Did (I-don't-know-his-real-name)Colonel Tigh actually loose the use of his eye? Dumb question since he was still fine in The Resistance, but ah, for some reason it seemed, "real"?

Run Callie, RUN! Sweet cliffhanger (I think I know how it's going to play out. (Either one of two choices, A: Selective firing, Roslin is okay, B: Super science-fiction fanboy explanation: time-travel.)), a little miffed that Baltar and "Caprica" weren't delved into, but I'm sure they will be dealt with presently.

Anyways, twas interesting, I just hope Starbuck's situation gets resolved soon, cause I can see that getting tired quickly.

  5. The official synopsis:

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America.

Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor family. Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, he was rejected. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea, General Chester Phillips offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment... Operation: Rebirth. After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Solider Serum and bombarded by "vita-rays." Steve Rogers emerged from the treatment with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human. Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program. Three months later, he was given his first assignment as Captain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and battle savvy, Captain America has continued his war against evil both as a sentinel of liberty and as leader of the Avengers.

Anyone else notice what they messed up?

How did he enlist if he was only 12-15 years old? Great Depression started in 1929 and the US entered WWII in 1941.

Vita-Rays apparently have a semi-"Captain Marvel" effect on people I guess.

  6. I thought it was just fantastic. The artwork looked so much nicer on the page than it did online. All the Titans are characterized well as far as I can tell. And this is the first artist I've seen that I think can actually draw Dick Grayson as Batman, and not some oddly modified version of Bruce Wayne. Anyways, I can't wait for the next issue.

  7. In other news, urgh, the tuna from the negitorodon hates me apparently. :( Also, finding long creepy crawly things with multiple legs in the bath is never fun. At least I didn't scream like a girl?

Negitorodon, that sounds like a cool word.

Oh, and I feel the pain regarding restaurant food not agreeing, I'm having to head over to eat with some friends at a Mexican restaurant that doesn't particularly like my stomach.

  8. Let's see... yesterday I listened to Blood of the Daleks pt.2, Horror of Glam Rock, Immortal Beloved, Phobos, and No More Lies. Today I just finished Human Resources pt.1 and Human Resources pt.2.

Eight and Lucie have to be my favorite companion/Doctor combo of them all.

    :D
