Missy
Katamari Rolls to North American PSPs Me and My Katamari and a pocketful of love. by David Adams November 17, 2005 - You've become a master roller on the PlayStation 2. No pen-knife, woman's shoe, spotted dog, tree, or massive building is safe from your maurading katamari. It'll soon be time to take your rolling skills to go, as Namco today confirmed that Katamari will collect on the PSP in North America. Tentatively titled Me and My Katamari, the PSP version of the singular franchise takes place on an island paradise, where the King of All Cosmos has taken his Royal Family for vacation. It's not all relaxation, of course: you'll have to roll up katamaris to create new island homes for homeless animals. In addition to classic rolling for the Prince and his cousins, Me and My Katamari will support wireless multiplayer for up to four people, as well as new player customization options -- including masks and headgear. Me and My Katamari is scheduled for release some time in 2006. We'll be back with more on the title as soon as news rolls in. Um... how are you supposed to control the katamari with only one analog nub?
Skyre
My guess would be to use the analog to move forwards, backwards, and strafe sideways. Circle and Square to rotate.
Missy
Ugh. Seems way too complicated.
Chops
when they showed this off at the TGS, it was played using the analog stick and the four face buttons(X, O, Triangle, and Square) as you would use the second analog stick on the PS2 controller
