Missy
Batman: Knightfall - No one can beat Batman, right? The Death of Superman - Here's an idea: Let's kill the most iconic superhero, and replace him with four "cool" characters. Then, we'll tease the fans and make them think one of these new supermen might really be the real Superman! Green Lantern: Emerald Twilight - Hal Jordan, one of the greatest heroes of all time, goes nuts and kills nearly every other member of the Green Lantern Corps. Yay. The Spider-Clone Saga - The Spider-Man we've known since 1962 is really a clone. Wait, no he's not. Yes he is. Nope. Yeah... sigh. Superman Red / Superman Blue - Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... streaks of red and blue lightning?
drqshadow
Red / Blue Supermen. I actually enjoyed Knightfall and Death of Superman because they injected life and fresh storytelling into characters that had been dead in the water for years. Spider-Clone I think got a bad rap because Wizard had such a huge, huge hate hard-on for it. Emerald Twilight was fairly well-explained (Hal's hometown was wiped out and he just lost it because he couldn't stop it). The red / blue Supermen was just a blatant publicity ploy, and a dumb one at that.
James D.
I voted Spider-Clone Saga in that smaller poll we had a few months ago, and I'm not about to change my vote here.
