  1. This one hurts. A lot. 61 is too damned young.
  2. Ooh, I unlocked The Living Tribunal card today kind of on accident. I'm only one card from having every single one in the game.
  3. Yeah, and the interface is much nicer on computer, obviously. 😅
  4. You can play it on Steam, too.
  5. The early progression system is great. You'll unlock new cards crazy quick. It gets to be a little more frustrating way later on, but through the first 500 or so levels of collection (that sounds like a lot, but it isn't) are really fun. Any questions, I'm happy to answer. I have all but two cards in the entire game and I have played every archetype imaginable.
  6. Anyone play this? I've been addicted to it for nearly a year now.
  7. Problem is, I haven't seen a Jurassic movie since The Lost World, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to say as much. 😅
  8. Well, I never did get around to covering Mac 'n Me... I kid. I really don't want to ever cover that, if I can avoid it.
  9. Yes. Worse than MK Annihilation? No, but, it was still horrible, and it suffered from many of the same problems as MKA.
  10. Word. I have a 9-day vacation coming up at the end of October into November. I think that would be ideal for recording. Gives us plenty of time to plan. And that goes for anyone else. I can record multiple episodes and have them in the can for future release.
  11. Hey, all. I've been wanting to revive the podcast for years, but with everything that's happened over the last few years, I haven't been able to. I'd like to do a show every two to three months, possibly with a revolving door of co-hosts. @Donomark, I think we briefly tossed around doing Mortal Kombat 2021? @Missy, would you be up for Jigsaw? (I totally understand if you don't want to. 🤣) If anyone else would like to record an episode down the road, let me know. You can post in this thread suggestions on movies you'd want to review with me. I'm also down for three-host episodes if we can somehow schedule that.
  12. Good Omens God, this show is fantastic. The chemistry between David Tennant and Michael Sheen is just amazing.
  13. God damn it. 😔 Sorkin's voice was iconic. Every single VA who has succeeded her has imitated her voice. That is how you know she was the best.
  14. Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles This is such a blast to watch. The Batman/Shredder fights alone are worth it, let alone everything else.
  15. Watching "Happy" on Netflix. It is insanely entertaining to see Christopher Merloni, the straight-laced cop from Law and Order SVU, playing a drug-addled, drunkard ex-cop who beats the shit out of people for money. Patton Oswalt is just delightful as the voice of Happy, too. Such a fucking weird show, but it all works so well.
  16. America: The Motion Picture I thought it was hilarious. Utterly dumb, mindless fun and violence for 90 minutes.
  17. Mortal Kombat (2021): This movie starts off so damn well, and then, from the 10-minute mark on, it is just a cascading snowball of bullshit and nonsense. Awful. I'll probably be bringing back the Tirades podcast to cover this piece of shit.
  18. The Mitchells vs. the Machines was absolutely wonderful. Poignant, hilarious, well voice-acted, and some great, eclectic animation.
  19. Coming to theatres in June 2084... DARK CLAW.
  20. https://youtu.be/86JYR7bK6RU And yes, that is MIKE PATTON singing the Ninja Turtles theme song.
  21. The Nightmare Before Christmas It still holds up to this day. And the score...my god, the score is nigh-unbeatable.
  22. I can't fathom how anyone gives WWE money anymore. Such a shitty company led by legitimately one of the scummiest rich people on the planet.
  23. Yeah, that one is fantastic. Another one I loved was, "The sea giveth and the sea taketh away...and this time, the sea......tooketh......my sword...."
