Missy
Here's the cover to 52 #1.
James D.
So, let me get this straight. DC is cancelling a ton of current comic series and putting all of its focus to this one series? Wow. I mean, I like the concept of 52 a lot, but this is pretty risky isn't it?
Missy
Some are being cancelled and others rebooted. But yeah, it's risky.
James D.
Some are being cancelled and others rebooted. But yeah, it's risky. Well, yeah, I mean, Batman: Gotham Knights, JLA, Wonder Woman, Flash, etc., etc.--these are huge series for them. I can't believe they're just offing them. Missy
I didn't know that B:GK was being cancelled, but it really isn't needed. Gotham Central is essentially becoming The Spectre. I think JLA is being rebooted. Lord knows what's going on with WW. And The Flash is being restarted.
Missy
I knew I heard something about the JLA and Wonder Woman. Brad Meltzer and Ed Benes will be the creative team behind the new Justice League of America. (Rumor has it that Lex Luthor creates the team!) Supposedly this will have a very JLU (RE: large team) feel. Is this preview art? Also, Allan Heinberg (Young Avengers) and Terry Dodson are taking over the new WW series. Missy
And right now, DC have plans to publish a Batwoman series, with a lesbian character in the lead. Some are speculating that this will be none other than Rene Montoya! I hope this is true, because I've always felt she should be part of the Bat-family.
