I haven't heard anyone saying anything positive about that series at all......anywhere. even Paul Dini kind of backhandedly slammed it recently.

You'd be surprised. There are still people championing the series. They fall anywhere between the "give it more time" and "THIS IS AWESOME~" groups. It's sad, really. They're either rabid fanboys blinded by the glint off Dan DiDio's head, or lying to themselves in an effort to justify the extra $2.99 they're spending each week. (Hell, there might be some who actually like it, but I would seriously call their taste into question.)

just to clairify since you guys keep mentioning it, the book in question with Jason Todd, Donna Troy, and Ryan Choi visiting different universes is called COUNTDOWN PRESENTS THE SEARCH FOR RAY PALMER not COUNTDOWN TO ADVENTURE. COUNTDOWN TO ADVENTURE is actually a book about characters from 52 including Adam Strange, Starfire, and Animal Man and what they have been up to post-52.
