Peter could claim Stark used him as a public face for Spider-Man, this way the "real" Spider-Man was protected during / after Civil War. Or they could say he was part of a Spider-Man army. Or that he used to be Spider-Man, but not anymore. There's a lot of potential with the reveal, but "One More Day" will serve as the official retconning of Peter's public ID, not Avengers: The Initiative. Yeah, the JJ part was funny, but I think they were making fun of the idea. I don't think they will go back to the clone(Parker at least) for awhile.
