RSS
It's February Previews time! Plus, Jenny and Mike answer a few e-mails, including one about slumping Amazing Spider-Man sales. Mike also plays a very amusing review recorded by Rob Briscoe from the Uncanny X-Cast. Dan
Arrgh! Uncanny X-Cast can kiss my pucker! X-Men First Class is teh awesome! I will hear no argument! (was that the kind of behavior Jenny was afraid of?)
Missy
HA! Give the song another listen: Rob likes the book, but doesn't see the point of telling a retro tale that barely fits into continuity. And yes, that's exactly what Jenny's afraid of. Malpractice
I love the Uncanny X-Cast but sometimes they do piss me off. Rob bashing the TMNT in that one episode almost made me stop listening to the show but i let it go (but seriously are people's only memory of the Ninja Turtles that stupid Vanilla Ice song and that dumb cartoon from the 80's :grumble: ). I was happy to hear that Rob branched out and started reading some different stuff though, and the X-Men: First Class song, and X-Cast rap are constantly stuck in my head lol. I was only kidding; I can't really see my way to letting questionable continuity ruin my enjoyment of an otherwise entertaining story, though. Missy
Agreed. If the book is good, who cares how / if it fits into a grander universe? Regardless, the song is funny.
Stavros
OK fine, you've got me into ANOTHER podcast. Just in time too because I need a massive amound of new content to keep me occupied during my week in Scotland at the end of the month.
