RSS
It's a first-issue special! This week the guys discuss four comics: Bad Dog #1, Eureka #1, I Am Legion #1 and The Mighty #1. Dread
I couldn't disagree more on I am Legion and The Mighty. The Mighty was the definition of boring to me with zero character and I loved I am Legion when DC printed it. Speaking of: this is solicited as a six issue series. Dubs might not have liked it because it was originally supposed to be a prestige format three issue series. So, if this was cut in half then you're not getting the story as intended. I thought the first issue PF (that came out like four years ago) was brilliant and was fucking choked when DC/Humanoids fell out. I have a great love for European comics and look forward to this. I think I have that first issue somewhere, I might have to dig it out.
Guest
Ye gods, no. I don't think I could have handled something double the length. Frankly, I was originally going to go full on skip, but I knew it was going to be one of "those" books, so I reeled back a little bit. I struggled to finish it though. Like I said in the review, I know there's an audience out there for it, but it wasn't my thing at all.
