RSS
This week Desmond and Darryll cover the sleazy 70s horror flick The Toolbox Murders, while Desmond goes solo in this edition of So Bad it's Good? on the straight-to-DVD, uhm, sleazy horror flick The Backlot Murders. Feedback, tunes, and plugs aplenty. Tunes include: "Dead in Hollywood" by The Murderdolls, "Stinkfist" by Tool, "Whatever Happened to Corey Haim" by The Thrills, and "We Hate Everyone" by Type O Negative. Nicolette Opal
"Stinkfist" is probably my favorite song. Ever. Yes, I listened to the rest of the show. Do you write out your "So Bad It's Good?" portion and read it when you record? Because that's what it sounds like. This is not a negative, just an observation. SBIT and Dying in the Gutters is scripted for the most part with a little bit of improvisation. Everything else is from some notes. Then I edit out the uhs and uhms. I'm clever like that. Nicolette Opal
Then I edit out the uhs and uhms. I'm clever like that. Yeah, there's a lot of that on MAP. And a lot of dead air. Like, Steve Dahl Show levels of dead air. I'm not sure you'll get that reference. Eh.
Missy
If I recall, Steve Dahl's show was dropped from the Detroit market because it featured too much dead air.
Dread
Let's pretend I get it, k? Then I edit out the uhs and uhms. I'm clever like that. Yeah, there's a lot of that on MAP. And a lot of dead air. Like, Steve Dahl Show levels of dead air. Totally. I understand.
