JackFetch
In addition to yesterday scheduling the Untitled Judd Apatow Comedy for June 1, 2012, Universal Pictures has set more release dates for its big projects through 2013. The studio is looking at releasing the Tom Hanks-directed Larry Crowne on July 1, 2011. Starring Hanks, Julia Roberts, Taraji P. Henson, Cedric the Entertainer, Bryan Cranston, George Takei and Peter Scolari, the comedy will be facing Paramount's Transformers: Dark of the Moon on that same day. Coming to theaters on February 10, 2012 will be the thriller Safe House, directed by Daniel Espinosa and starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. That will be followed on March 16, 2012 by Contraband, the Baltasar Kormakur thriller starring Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale. Universal is targeting an August 3, 2012 release for The Bourne Legacy, written and directed by Tony Gilroy. Platinum Dunes' adaptation of Hasbro's Ouija has been scheduled for November 9, 2012, while the Carl Eric Rinsch-directed 47 Ronin, starring Keanu Reeves, is coming Wednesday, November 21, 2012. The latter will face DreamWorks Animation's The Guardians on that date. The studio has also set the Rupert Sanders-directed Snow White and the Huntsman for a release on December 21, 2012. And Ron Howard's first movie based on Stephen King's The Dark Tower has been scheduled for May 17, 2013. Koete
The only film from that list that has me interested is the first Dark Tower, and even then I don't think Ron Howard is the best choice for it.
