Guest
Just watched this again today. So damn great. This could actually use a remake, I think.
JackFetch
I love that movie, but that chick has freaky eyes that creep me out.
Shinmaru
I actually saw for the first time (yes, I know) a couple of weeks ago. It's as awesome as I hoped it would be. Also, I would say this is an example of a movie being better than its literary source. And, yes, I think that about the girl in the movie, too, haha. Her heel turn did not surprise me in the least. Dread
Wow...how did I miss this. An unlauded gem in Carpernter's back catalogue...and Piper is my God.
drqshadow
I remember watching this and wondering why we were spending so much time watching Roddy Piper work construction at the outset.
Chadzilla
Loved it, John Carpenter closed the 80s with a winner, IMHO.

Derrick
I love that movie, but that chick has freaky eyes that creep me out. That's Meg Foster and I absolutely love those eyes of hers. I read an interview about her years and years ago during the original theatrical run of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE where she said that she lost a lot of jobs because her eyes tended to freak some people out but it evened out because she got just as many jobs because of her eyes. She was advised at the start of her career to use contact lenses but she refused. For which I applaud her. It's also worth mentioning that she and Loretta Swit were the original "Cagney & Lacey" They couldn't continue doing the show because Loretta Swit couldn't get out of her M*A*S*H* contract and Meg Foster was considered by CBS to be "too aggressive"
