  1. Place: Using the Warp Pipes, the combatants can travel between both of their worlds. Conditions: Normal Notes: This is one-on-one, meaning no Luigi or Tails to help out. Power-Ups: Any power-ups that would be available in that world are free to use. (i.e. Mario couldn't use the Fire Flower in Sonic's world, but Sonic could use the Invisibility Star in the Mushroom Kingdom.)
  2. Sorry, but this is so far off topic, I don't see how it can recover. Plus we've pretty much established that Mario's cartoon owned Sonic's. But if you want to continue the Mario v Sonic debate, do it here: Mario v Sonic. Locked.
  3. You know, James, my girlfriend's sleeping right now and I could really use some head. I'm sure I have a few rings laying around here somewh... this is so off topic. Uh... Mario's cartoon was better.

  5. [/shuddering] Sadly, I'd watch that show when I was at my dad's. Even as a kid I knew it was crap, but nothing else was on at 6:00a (or whenever) except infomercials and televangelists.
  6. Nightwing needs his own cartoon. Until that day comes I'll be .
  7. Thanks for clarifying that. As I said, Captain Planet's dialog made me ill, so he wins for having the worst one-liners. Incidentally, here's a link to the Captain Planet site.
  8. Done. My hatred for the 1960s Batman TV show runs bone-deep, but even I have to admit they wrote some funny lines once in a while. Captain Planet's one-liners on the other hand were schlock. EDIT: So we're voting for who had the worst puns, right? I know you said that, but I want to make sure.
  9. No big deal. I wish they'd add Nightwing, 'cause I <3 Nightwing.
  10. Indeed, Zatanna and The Demon look ultra cool. (I'm going to move this to the Movies & TV forum by the way.)
  11. Does anyone else remember this movie? God how I loved it as a child! Sure, it was a 90 minute, thinly veiled Nintendo commercial, but by God it featured the Power Glove, Super Mario Bros. 3, and the line "HE TOUCHED MY BREAST!" -- what red-blooded American child wouldn't love that? Ahhhh, the memories.
  12. Since you can't use the eReader with SP and I don't feel like breaking out my old GBA, I can't use the cards.
  13. Orion, Supergirl, one-handed Aquaman, Dr. Fate equals one word: NICE!
  14. Both men are out for vengeance, but their quests have been put on hold for this fight. Location: Detroit, Michigan Conditions: storms and fires have caused city-wide power outages Ghost Rider Set Up: Johnny Blaze travels to Detroit after he gets word that a friend was murdered. When he arrives he finds the city cloaked in darkness due to a heavy storms and fires. For the most part people stay indoors, but Blaze (as Ghost Rider) comes across several groups of looters, gangs, and other unsavory types who he puts a quick end to. So when he crosses paths with the pale-faced strange in black leather he thinks him to be just another weirdo or would-be thug he can dispose of quickly. Crow Set Up: As Eric Draven hunts down the men who murder himself and his fiancée, fires ravage the city -- killing innocent people. When he comes across the flaming skulled biker that is Ghost Rider, Draven assumes he's found the murderous arson -- and attacks. Note: This is not to the death. At some point Blaze will realize that The Crow is his murdered friend, and the two will team-up to hunt down Eric's killers. You are to decide who will be the last man standing before that moment.
  15. Though one should never underestimate The Joker, I don't see him putting up a long fight against the Green Goblin -- especially when you consider the glider and Norman's willingness to kill.
  16. If you could have sex with one superhero/heroine (or villain/villainess) who would it be? Off the top of my head I'd say Baroness (GI Joe) would be my Number 1 choice, with Wonder Woman, Phoenix, and Storm pulling a three-way tie for a close second.

  18. So, Mario can run at light speed? Hell no! He's a fat bastard, but he has the Warp Pipes which will get him anywhere ahead of Sonic.
  19. He's been back for quite some time now.
  20. I'm replaying this from scratch at home, and that's the level I'm on right now. Done in less than one minute and 33 moves.
  21. I'm replaying this from scratch at home, and that's the level I'm on right now.
  22. I have SMA4:SMB3 and it owns this forum! Admittedly I have not used the eReader to unlock all the assorted goodness, but that doesn't matter 'cause I can finally play SMB3 again! My copy for the NES never quite worked right.
  23. What he said. He's been dead in the comics for some time now. Uh... he's in the current arc. Jean's dead. Right?
  24. That's right, Bruce gets someone else to make his batarangs and other gear, and yet they never work out why Bruce might want them...... More a dig at the logic that Bruce can't invent as opposed to whether it's factually true. I meant WayneTech and Wayne Enterprises don't make lethal weapons because Bruce won't let them -- because of how his parents died. When it comes to Batman's gear I always assumed he made it himself, but you're saying he doesn't. Have they ever mentioned who makes his stuff? I know there was an episode of the cartoon where Penguin figured out who made the Batmobile, but that's cartoon continuity and not comic so it doesn't count.
