  1. But we've already had a film named Batman. Unless the producers said, "Hey! We're starting over -- ignore the last four films," we have to acknowledge them. Hence the lame name. Hasn't it changed in the last few weeks? What was it supposed to be?
  2. Nah. It just toom me a while to remember. Pre-Crisis DC had an infinite number of Earths, with counterparts to the heroes we know and love. Below you'll find the five iconic members of the JLA, name their villainous Earth-2 counterparts and the name of their team. Superman Batman Wonder Woman Flash Green Lantern
  3. Title says it all: Of the six Metroid games released thus far, which one is the best?
  4. Anyone play Metroid: Zero Mission yet? I just bought it today, but haven't had time to give it a whirl.
  5. Images: Replaced the "new post/no new post" (red/yellow, grey) E2 images from the front page with similarly colored spheres. Skins: Working a bug out of a skin. When/If that's fixed, it will be posted. Skins: Still looking for new skins.
  6. GRAH!!! To be continued -- after all that?! :grumble: Great game nonetheless.
  7. Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters
  8. This is just meant to be a fun little poll to see who prefers which company and why. (No griping that Image, Dark Horse, or your favorite indy company isn't on here. This is just about the Big Two.) Me, I've always been a Marvel kid. Sure, DC has some big guns in Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the JLA, but they're all too god-like -- untouchable. Whereas Marvel's characters are always down to earth and flawed. It's much easier to relate to a kid with homework and girl problems than an alien with a great job and hot girlfriend.
  9. If this comes down to them trading blows (which it wouldn't), then Fisk walks away with Luthor's hide and Metropolis as his new empire. And Luthor knows this -- so he's going to put a call into every major/local police department, the local chapter of the FBI, any nearby military base, as well as hire every super-powered criminal within this domed city. Having all that at his disposal, Fisk cannot win.
  10. I think I'm near the end. So I should beat it tonight.

    Online

Why aren't they're more GC games online, like Mario Kart: Double Dash?! I know of the whole Warp Pipe thing using the machine's LAN capabilities, but that's crap. Nintendo should create a network a la PS2 Online or Xbox Live.
  12. Is that the one with the laser? If so, that one took me while too. I'm on 11 now.
  13. A graphic novel and/or TPB is generally one story, so those count. I've been trying to make that list for a long time myself, and it's always changing.
  14. With a good writer, great director, and almost perfect cast we can only hope.
  15. Ducard did train Bruce, but I don't know anything about a mind device.
  16. As opposed to walking through endless fields?
  17. Exactly! You never know whose side she's on because, Ra's can use her against Batman, and Batman can even use her against Ra's. Most of all, Talia can play both men against each other. She needs to be in this film!
  18. Bale proved he can sound "American" in American Pshyco and Murphy's sounded perfectly British in 28 Days Later, so maybe he can pull off an American accent too. Screw the detractors, this is a solid cast for this era in Batman's life -- except Holmes.
  19. But this is yet between years one and three, so they needed a younger Batman. I agree Keaton's been the best, but he can't play a 25 year old Bruce Wayne.
  20. Is that Hero Bear and Kid, or a different book?
  21. But he is married now, so he's had to have sex with Lois at some point. Hell! They've shown them naked in bed together. I don't think they could have kids, but if he can touch Lois and other people, he can certainly be gentle enough to have sex with here. Heck! Maybe not -- maybe Lois likes it rough.
  22. Bruce Wayne/Batman: Christian Bale Alfred Pennyworth: Michael Caine Lucius Fox: Morgan Freeman Rachel: Katie Holmes Dr. Jonathan Crane: Cillian Murphy Henri Ducard: Liam Neeson Ra's Al Ghul: Ken Watanabe For the most part this cast is freakin rules, now let's just hope the script isn't a steaming pile of crap. My only problem with the cast is Katie Holmes playing some made-up childhood friend/love interest. With Talia, Ra's Al Ghul's daughter, they have built-in tension because she is pretty much the only woman Bruce has ever really loved but she's the daughter of a would be world conqueror/destroyer/crazy environmentalist. That's some great stuff right there, but instead of going with that angle, they make-up some stupid part to bring in the teen crowd. BS!
  23. But remember, Supes won't kill. He might burn the shit out of Logan, but he'd let him live. And the problem with that is, if Logan gets hurt/pissed enough he's gonna heal up and come after you again and again until he's won.
  24. I'm not big into the FF series, but even if I was I'd give the same vote -- Hell no!
