My friend changed his mind as he got further into it. By the end he was raving about it.

They don't need to make another one for years to keep the rights. We'll know when that limit is almost up when they put one into production.
-
But was he really
I never thought so. I think they just had similar goals. But really, I think Civil War started in Age of Ultron.
-
Oh. Boy.
"He's my friend."
"So was I." -
I love it. But not everyone does, it seems
I have a friend who is the biggest fan of the original comic, and he does not like the show. He thinks Jessica is too submissive. -
Well, finally. And as per bloody usual, it had to be all about her, didn't it. Couldn't just kill her, had to drag it out and give her a nice long goodbye speech.
RIP Clara Oswald and good riddance. Hope we never see you again. Maybe the show will actually be about The Doctor now, not The Amazingly Wonderful Clara Oswald and her friend the time lord. -
I finished it. Ohhhhh boy.
That. Was. Fucking. incredible.
A bit bleak for my taste and it started to loose its way a bit in the fifth and sixth episodes. But as Jack says,, Seven is where it all changes. -
I was wrong. I'm on epsiode 7 and I'm riveted again.

Gravity Falls is ending at the end of the current season.
This is why we can't have nice things. Because the people who were making it decided to end it on their own terms instead of continuing it forever.
And this is a bad thing?
-
It was out of order?

Sorry, I was generically lumping it in with everything else.
And I saw the the first one, which is where I discovered that if I watch horror movies I have nightmares for the next two or three nights. -
One episode into Jessica Jones. This thing is bleak. Ritter is outstanding.
Also, ever single time Luke dropped a line, I said, "Luke fucking Cage!"
Wait till episode three. A certain festive utterance occurs.

I've watched six episodes. The pilot was good, there are some great moments and Ritter and Tennant are outstanding. But overall, I give it a 'meh'
I had to stop at six because if I had continued, I might well have stopped mid episode 7 and never come back.I still might leave it unfinished. -
Bad CGI in an Evil Dead product? That's like complaining about the unrealistic effects in a Sharknado movie...
-
I was ridiculously pleased that Grodd got a happy ending. I hope we see him again,
Now why couldn't they do something like that for King Shark? Are we allowed only one superintelligent human/animal hybrid? -
That looks so unbelievably and gloriously dumb that I want to see it.
-
Anyone know how Blindspot is doing? I stopped watching around the middle of the fourth episode. Jaime Alexander can only keep me interested in a show that formulaic, for so long.
Oh please. Its a damn shame, but of course Supergirl is going to get cancelled. It was always going to get cancelled. -
I didn't like it. Long stretches of boring interspersed with middling action sequences. Indentikit action movie. And way too long.
-
Spectre: I liked it! Maybe not as sharp as Skyfall but a dang good film experience all the same
I was bored at several points but usually about the time I started to get fidgety, there was a halfway decent action sequence to keep me entertained.

Justice League: Gods and Monsters: Holy crap, this is one of the best of the DVD DC animated films. Outsde of some excellent voice work and some pretty good visuals, it is often intense with no sign of letting up. It helps that this version of the League is so interestingly put together. Of course a guy experimenting with bats who becomes a vampire would name himself Batman. The idea of Superman being raised by illegal immigrants is beautiful. Finally, I like this Wonder Woman. Only complaint is that, at times, it does feel like this is an uncompromisingly grim dark world (see how things are handled on Apokolyps) but still, it works for the League we got. Apparently, we're getting ten more shorts on this league next year. I would be happy to see a sequel.
They did comic one-shots for all three of them and a 4 issue mini series too. The Bats one-shot was particularly dark. I am not normally a fan of grimdark but this world I want to see a lot more of. And who wouldn't love a Vampire Batman being voiced by Dexter Morgan?

CBS has greenlit a new series, set to debut in 2017, the first episode airing on CBS before moving to CBS's online paid service. Alex Kurtzman is developing and it's been reported a few other places that it won't have any relation to Star Trek Beyond so hopefully that means this is taking place in the original timeline.
That was what was worrying me when I first read about it.

I've not read the comic, so I can't say how faithful it is. But based on that trailer, I will be avoiding the show as if it were Ebola.
-
Man, though, wouldn't it be awesome if it turns out that our Sith is actually Luke? (This will never happen, lol).
There seem to be a lot of people out there who think this.

You will not be disappointed.

They'll never let the X-Men go but they might do a deal for the FF.
